I'm finally a Destiny Veteran!
Me and my friends from school started playing about 2 or so months ago but today when I stayed home I beat Oryx HARD MODE.. whole thing. 3X EACH WEEK. Most players cant say that.
When they got home they were so jelous I could hear it in they're voices.
Anywys, I make them call me a veteran when we're around players we don't know and stuff..
I feel really powerful now that I'm one of the best.. aka veterans.
One more thing, I hate when people tell me they are a vet also bc they tried the raid.. I call them noobs.
Go veterans of destiny!

Well lots of people are posting what they think it means to be a vet I agree with one important requirement, you gotta have moments of triumph, you just do. If you have the VIP rewards you can be an honorary vet but not an official. Srryntsrry

Lol not even close

...someone get this taken tot some pants.

UR shit not a year one player

Bearbeitet von CrossEagle91636: 12/13/2015 5:29:18 PMSorry but you were not here in year 1 I did not complete Moments of Triumph (I think I spelled that right.) But I was here close to Dark Below release. I am not a true veteran but I am a semi veteran. I experienced a lot of stuff in year 1 so you well are not a veteran. Beating something does not make you a veteran. I have not beat hard mode.(I have beat Normal Mode.)So stop please.
-
Your a vet if you've played 7 days (not seven days accumulated) of destiny by bungie standards nothing more nothing less.
-
Veteran = at least a year of service
-
shut the -blam!- up
-
Kid, the only way to be a vet is if you have been here since alpha or beta, and stayed with Destiny for a year. Starting 2 months ago isn't exactly 1 year. For example I'm a veteran. Look at my warlocks emblem.
I know my warlock is 39. It's because of how little time I play.
*frightens thread*
-
I mean, yeah you've done more than I have in Year 2. That makes you a Year 2 veteran. But an actual veteran is someone who played Vanilla in Year 1.
-
Nice warm fuzzy story. Heres your troll card.
-
Not sure if b8?
-
No. Veteran of year 2, yes, but not an actual veteran.
-
Here come all the "Let me list every significant event of last year to make you feel bad for not paying $100 earlier like everyone else." Posts.

Bearbeitet von Aeggro: 12/13/2015 3:25:30 PMSo you mean to tell me that in two months you beat Kings Fall hard mode, almost max light on a character, and have 4000+ grimoire? You sir need to get a -blam!-ing life. I was a Christmas noob myself, and I don't play as much, and I just beat Oryx normal mode on December 1st. I'm not a "veteran" but I remember year one and going flawless for my first time in Trials, beating Crota and Skolas within a month of buying the two dlcs back in July, just to complete my Moments of Triumphs, grinded for materials to level up good weapons, and collected nearly ALL year one exotics. You have done in two months what has taken me nearly a year to do. Tip: GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GET SOME PUSSY DUDE. You are not a veteran to Destiny at ALL
-
* their stay in school
-
Lol.... Your joking... Right.
just cuz you can beat a raid on hard ( easy) doesn't make you a vet in the game. Vog was harder when it was around.
-
I remember you Master troll guys Just move along
-
You are NOT a veteran. I haven't beaten hard oryx because I haven't got the time to grind all the gear, but I've been playing since the BETA. I'm a veteran. You're a KINDERGUARDIAN who plays a lot. Don't try to put yourself with us. I'm my eyes, you won't be a veteran destiny player until you've been playing for over a year. Talk to me then.

All the replies be people saying what they do.

I bought the game week one!!! AND I AM NOT A VETERAN!!!!!!! do you know why? Because I was absent because the game didn't resonate with me. I put it down for months until a few weeks after how that being said I have dumped many hours into this game and feel like a competent player. BUT NOT A VETERAN! and that is because a veteran in this game is someone who seen it all done it and stuck with it through all of it. They are the people who spent hours farming materials dealing with b.s. bounty slots and a op skolas. Not you or me.

That's not what a vet is
