The only problem I see with any of this is the pricing may need to come down a little. $10 for the book is a little steep, but if you ignore the stat tracking youre paying for a shader, armor, and sparrow specific to the event so look at it as "value" pack. Not too bad considering the pricing of the legendary TTK stuff that was sold seperately. Now the BIG problem for me is the pricing on the sparrows. I dont mind them being 500 silver or $5, maybe a bit much for a simple skin change but alas it seems reasonable. The pricing would be perfectly fine if it wasnt RNG based. Who is to say you dont end up spending silver and getting the exact same sparrow several times? This to me is no good. I think if Bungie were to simply allow us to choose the ones we want it would be fine at a $5 price point. There will be those that will want them all, those that want specific colors, or even those that want their favorite foundry's sparrow so either way it would net money. I know this is similar to the Festival of the Lost, however, you could earn all of those masks (with the exception of the blue skull) by just playing the game. Yes you would have to buy a random mask to try and get a permanant version of that mask and you may get duplicates, but even the duplicates were useful for the glue. I dont know how many people agree with me on this but either way Ill save my judgement entirely for after the patch drops tomorrow.

I don't know if I agree. Am I reading the update wrong? The top section mentions the 320 gear. The bottom section mentions the record book and vanity items. Are the two sections mutually exclusive? I can't imagine the fellas at Bungie are dumb enough to implement pay to win with the game losing more players every day.

That means if i wanted to collect my wins and gain the drops .now the issue to me here is that when i initially win there will be " drops" but of all the possibilities of random shit dropping You ll "more than likely " get from the looto table of no loot. Til you see that when you but the -blam!-ing record book itll more than likely set u on a progressive loot table that has less empty loot selectiins. 2 AntwortenAll the record book does is give you the option to records your accomplishments, which isn't important, for later viewing and a few challenges that get you a set of cosmetic gear and an emblem. That's like 1/20th of the new sparrows, gear, and emblems you can get without it, without spending a dime. This bitching is stupid.
