4 AntwortenFrom what I read it looks like the record book can be used to obtain an infusable class item and helmet. What level it comes at is unknown. If they come at 320 I can see where this would cause some consternation as a 320 helmet is a fairly rare thing in destiny at the moment. If these items come at something lower than 300 then I don't see what the big deal is. Just another cosmetic option.

2 AntwortenIs it legal for a company to sell an object for money (sparrow) and it's random, so when you open it and see it's a duplicate of something you already had, you wasted $5 on something? CS:GO does this for weapon skins but they can be sold for pennies. Trading Cards are the same way. TF2 hats can be trader and sold. The only idea I could think of would be like the lottery. Law majors please help out haha.

They can't make the free part without a source of revenue (do you not comprehend basic business practices). Thank God it is optional to pay to participate in the event. Bungie' asking for a measly and optional sum of cash. Be grateful they made this exciting new experience. Enjoy your free content and stop bitching and ruining this game for others.

9 AntwortenYou're misinformed. The only Record Book-exclusive rewards are the Momentum Master gear set, the EV-41 Momentum Master sparrow and the Momentum's Pride shader. Everything else (including 320 legendary helmets and class items) can be earned in-game or through packages from Tess (not at 320 though). Get your facts straight. Please don't spread misinformation.

Pay to win (or more truthfully, pay to 'record' your win) on a console game that some of us have already spent $120.00++ on... #CmonMan! It's true $10 isn't much. It's also true that the cost to make Destiny was covered in the first day of destiny sales. Then there was two expansions, TTK, emotes, masks and finally sparrow races. If people keep spending money on things that should be free then Bungie never had to make real content ever again.

I didn't buy anything form EV, and I won't start now, it's just cosmetics, that I don't care about... Sparrow racing will be fun, so I'm looking froward to it, but honestly that's not enough to save Destiny, I'm so burnt out I haven't even done the raid for more than a month, because it's pointless.... There honestly is no difference in being light lvl 300 or 320. The only part of the game it matters is the Raid, which got boring after a month, and which isn't worth it, because of the shitty reward system they use now. Not to mention the next DLC is near and then all this gear won't matter. The thing that drove me the most is collecting all exotics, and that was fun, but now that I have them all, there's nothing to do except to jump in from time-to-time for some shooting, that is still very fun, but only in smaller amounts since I've been doing this for more than a year now. [spoiler]Besides Dec. 9-12 I'm doing Divison alpha so yeah... :P[/spoiler]
