Seriously, we don't need to be dicks. We all get it, we suck, your the best, piss off with the t-bagging. It just makes you look like an asshole, and everyone else angry. It is easily the number one reason I dislike trials. It just takes the fun factor out of everything.
Edit: The response has been pretty impressive. Sadly, it's been pretty negative too. Now, I will admit, the original post was a pretty knee-jerk reaction to getting t-bagged for 3 hours. But as I get my head straight, it really is a legitimate concern for me. Everyone defending t-bagging sounds about the same to me. Like this mostly, "lol, scrub, u mad bro?" Um, yeah. and I don't want to be. That ruins the fun for me. Now, I realize that many of you find t-bagging to be fun for you, but I'm sure there is something that ruins the fun for you too. Imagine if someone did said thing to you, constantly. Not fun, right? We all just want to play Destiny and have fun.
Secondly, I'd like to address all you that say it's part of the mental game. It's not, really. It's not even necessary. To use some of your own points, it's a video game! Why are you taking it so seriously that you feel the need to get in someone's head? Just play the game, and have fun doing it. Besides, t-bagging is a terrible mental tactic. It doesn't intimidate anyone, it doesn't do anything remotely useful. Your just being a dick. You want to know how to really get in someone's head? Just straight up kick their ass. Be so much better than them that they can't stand it. Just blow my mind with how damn good you are. That's gonna mess with my game much more than t-bagging.
Also, remember that guy who said something about "internet anonymity"? He's got a very good point. I'm not a person to any of you right now. So, while you say you don't give a crap about what I think online, there's no way that you would feel comfortable saying any of this to my face. On some level everyone cares at least a little about the approval of others. Besides, When you are a jerk online, you don't know who that person is or what their reaction might be. Sure, it might be they guys who chuckles and shrugs it off saying "GG", but it could also be the guy who tracks your IP, finds you, kills your family and uses their bones to turn you into a human kebab. (I'd like to say that I am not threatening to turn anyone into a human kebab. I'm a terrible cook.)
Ultimately, I know it's never going to stop, because let's face it, we're all asshole at some time. But I just ask for a little more respect for each other. We all love this game. We all love playing this game together. Why does everyone here hate everyone else, when we should all be elated that there are so many other people that love the same thing that we love. So, I propose this. In my mind there are 2 acceptable circumstances for t-bagging. 1) If you are t-bagged first, feel free to t-bag the person that t-bagged you to your hearts' content. 2) T-bagging is acceptable when a player is playing dirty, (camping, hardscoping, shotgun rushing, what ever you deem appropriate) and you finally take that person out. But, hey, that's just me. Let's just be nice to each other, alright?
Edit 2: I stumbled on a Polygon article that I found very relevant and very well spoken about just this topic. Please, feel free to give it a read. http://www.polygon.com/2015/12/11/9885482/tea-bagging-shouldnt-bother-me-but-it-does

You should also always tea bag your friends lmao
-
Only warlocks shouldn't be allowed to do this, every weapon, warlock item, and skill tree is set up for zero skill and easy gameplay. The characters are destiny's in game difficulty setting, guess what warlocks, you are considered easy mode.
-
That's called tilting. If your opponent tilts you with his T-Bag and you anger, that means he successfully tilted you to play in a worsened state. It's a legit (albeit an offensive) strategy that people with no honor utilize to gain an advantage.
-
I think it's funny to Tbag and I think it's funny when I get tbagged.
-
the fact that there seems to always be somebody making a post rambling/crying/whining/etc about the big T Bag thing and how it upsets people, makes people cry/mad/scared/rage/etc is the reason as long as people can do it they will do it. some people do it because it pisses people off and a lot of people start playing really bad when upset...some people do it cuz they get one kill and think they are gods...others do it because they got you in a very skillfull kill..but the main thing is...its a taunt, just like people taunt in anything competative you either let it roll of your skin cuz its a game, you give them a taste of thier own medicine,or you just stop playing destiny because you are obviously too easy to upset and should just stop playing anything multi player and most of all.... stop being a cry baby about the silliest crap ever

In tea bagging my phone while I type to you.
-
I'm going to t-bag my enemies till I die

T-bagging is alright at the right time and moment. Not every single time, kinda gets boring after awhile lol. I played a match once and I knew I wasn't going to win, just wanted to complete the match and so I sat down where I spawned and waited to be killed. Lo and behold someone sniped me, ran over and t-bagged me... I was laughing really hard because I messaged him after and asked him what was he celebrating for? Because I handed my death to him on a silver platter? Anyways, I don't mind T-bagging if it's done right. I rarely do it. If I kill someone who's been incredibly difficult to kill in crucible I'll t-bag them and then move on.
-
Fine, I'll start using an infuser. No more tea bags for me.
-
I have a whole tea party on people that play like lil bioatches in trials. Especially drifter map. People are Hard scoping the shit out of the hallways. It's ridiculous. This is the First trials I switched to a shotgun since people obviously don't look at their radars when they haven't zoomed out in 20 seconds.

I agree with this pos,t one time in 1 vs 3 (me being by myself) we got tied at 4 wins with them using all 3 supers and me killing the golden gun getting tether killing the hunter and get rekt by a titan. I was happy for them until they t bagged me. -blam!-ers

Post like this are exactly why bagging will always be a thing. It's a game, and I think bagging is funny whether I'm receiving a sack or delivering that sweet, salty goodness.

I do what I want.

The sack assault will neverrrrrrrr end

1 AntwortenI will always Tbag you if you snipe on small maps. I will make it my mission to follow you around the map and kill you to do it multiple times too

No? Why would we stop?

Bags are an art.... If done correctly, you will anxiously await the next one and I will whisper................
Scrub.....
-
Nope. I will not stop.
OP is str8
Petition for everyone to t-bag after every kill, especially against a sunsinger in trials.
-
3 AntwortenPeople like you are the ones who like to get participation trophies

I teabagged once in Trials. We tied it 1-1. After the teabag incident, we got smoked 5-1. I will never teabag again. Maybe I'll dance whenever I get to the lighthouse. But I will retire the teabag (plus it's flat out lame).
-
I'll t-bag in regular pvp but not trials
