Are play station exclusives going too far?
Ok I may be completely wrong in what I'm about to say but I'm just very curious. Throughout destiny's life PlayStation has been given many exclusives due to Sony's investment you could say to bungie(I'm aware it was allot though not sure how much, maybe it really is worth it). As an Xbox player I've been getting fairly jealous of PlayStation's constant 1year in advance quests, weapons and soon to be sparrows and sparrow armor or whatever they are going to call it along with iron banner armor. I was wondering what my fellow community members thought about this, both those of Xbox and PlayStation. Are they giving them too much, too little, is it too long of a wait for Xbox players etc. Please let me know because as I said I'm very curious of other people's perspective. (Thanks, and good luck)

11 AntwortenPS payed for exclusive content so they deserve it. If you want to be a part of it then buy a PS. That's my opinion.

I honestly don't care. Exclusives have been around for years. You get some, you don't get some. Life goes on.

1 AntwortenThey seem like a waste of money on Sony's part. An extra map or a sparrow skin isn't going to convince me to buy a PS4. I wonder how many people bought a console for exclusive in-game content? I can't imagine it's enough to make up what they probably spent to make it happen.

3 AntwortenThis is your opinion and my opinion but some people disagree but I disagree with them because I believe they are right but I do not believe they are right since I believe that I am right just as I believe you are right but bungie doesn't know who's opinion is right as If I am right then they are not right and if they are right then I am not right and if they are right then you are also not right but I hope that I am right and that you are right because I want the game to be fun but to them if they are right and bungie thinks they are right then they will have fun but then if they are right and bungie thinks they are right I will not have fun also if they are right and bungie thinks they are right you will not have fun but if I am right and bungie thinks I am right then I will have fun just like how if you are right and bungie thinks you are right then you will have fun but at the same time if you are right and bungie thinks you are right then they will not have fun just like if I am right and bungie thinks I am right then they will also not have fun so hopefully I am right and they are right but we can't both be right so one of us must be right unless bungie says we are right.

no not really, its what sony does to keep getting new players. xbox does it better by getting the whole game exclusive.

Would you rather have these exclusives or have the DLC come out 1 month after for xbox, every dlc.

I'm an Xbox One player. To be honest, I don't really care. I don't think any of the year 1 guns, maps, or strikes were game-changing once we got them. I don't mind waiting the year...as long as we get them eventually.

So as a Xbox player I do think the time between exclusives too extensive. It also limits the amount of input they can receive from the community in terms of weapon balancing. (Despite everyone constantly calling for nerfs)

12 AntwortenIt's one thing to have exclusives. That's whatever. It's another to have them for a year. That's just ridiculous. All these exclusives xbox has had that people cry about were only 30 days. These new exclusives we will never see. Assuming we're into destiny 2 as planned. They can't possibly milk this game for another year.

4 AntwortenAs an Xbox player, this doesn't bother me. I don't play against anyone on PS4, so it will literally not impact me at all except for the fact that I won't have it. And seeing as how I am not 4 and don't need to have everything I see, no harm done.

Give? Gave? They weren't Givin anything. I believe Xbox had the same chance to bid on content as PS. As a PS player I used to get made at the cod map packs they got a month early so I get it. But now PS gets them early and probably because they paid more for that rite. But for me to fix the exclusive problems I also bought a XBOX1 now I switch back and forth just like tomb raider I couldn't wait for it to be released on ps so I bought it for xbox.

5 AntwortenSony's been investing a shit ton in games because they don't have any good exclusives coming out for a while and they don't want to fall behind Microsoft in sales. It's how they're marketing to get people to buy their console. By the end of this current generation both consoles will be neck and neck. Neither is offering anything to give them a solid lead on each other

No see where the punch to the testicles should come is now you also no longer get CoD exclusives either since they sold out to Sony this year. Xbox is just slowly losing their timed exclusives, Sony is paying more and the companies are glad to take the money. Just how it is. Ps3/360 age, 360 got ALL the timed exclusives. Now it's Sony's time
