If so, make it a weaker less rewarding version. Like in WoW(shame on me for comparing two games) you LFR(looking for raid) which is raid matchmaking below normal difficulty with lesser rewards to help you prepare for raids and for those filthy casuals out there, like myself. I don't feel like matching will increase the amount of people who've completed the raids anyway. Look how little people talk during strikes(not that it's needed), imagine trying to do kings fall with at least 2 or 3 people who don't talk/listen.

4 AntwortenNo but we should have in game lobby where we can find players with in game chat like a real mmo.i dont mind using the app.but my friends list is full of ppl i play with once.i dont want to have to add u to my firendlist just to raid
-
No, but it should have a built in system for LFG. If you've ever played Elder Scrolls: Online, you'd know what I'm talking about.
-
1 AntwortenOptional yes, mandatory no.
-
1 AntwortenCould be much easier if they just put a LFG system in-game
-
I think the option would be good. I steered a group to get there 320 relic on Sunday. I really wanted to try and get to at least sisters but it took forever and I ran out if time... had to go to work. And of course for no reward as I had completed it already. Moral to the story is. That through lfg you don't know what you are going to get equally with matchmaking. If I get a team together then that fireteam gets put forward to the raid. If I am one short then Matchmaking kicks in at the loading screen. There really isn't a difference if I spend 10min trolling the lfg sites for a random. I do worry about how it will work if someone leaves midway through? What happens if you get kicked by some elitest clowns? Also what happens with check points? I would personally like matchmaking but not to sure what the best mechanics would be.

To me, no difference then coming on the forum, which I always need to do...but an in game lobby is something I hope is in development for destiny 2.
-
Yes and no. If they put on a check list for level and class that you are looking for that would be cool. But it should only be optional and only used for people who cant find a team. Something like ESO has for their dungeon finder
-
I just don't like going outside of the game just to find groups for raids/nightfalls. However they can do that, will work.
-
Sure. I would never use but bungie should give it a try and see if it works. I would much prefer if they put an in game lfg that allows you to create or join groups. My fear in using pure match making is I will matched with inexperienced players with no mics. I'm OK with playing with/teaching inexperienced players but not if they don't have a mic.
-
The majority of players are not good enough, there is people on lfg who still haven't done hard raid.not being an elite member of destiny or anything but people are bad at this game and that's just how it is.bump this post if you have used lfg and found people who you know have no chance of completing a raid

Sigh. The forums already have enough complaining. Don't want to see threads crying for raid boss nerfs. Since they have put team chat in I've talked to exactly 3 people in team chat. I have almost 2k hours in destiny.
-
I believe the chances for it to work would be small as raids depend on team communication but having the option would be good in my opinion. If anyone has time to spend waiting for folks to learn by themselves what/how/when to do things in the raid...

In-game lfg with different parameters would be fantastic, it would be nice for scrub lords like me
-
I always lol@people who are so against this. If people want to voluntarily struggle and waste their time doing the raid in matchmaking, let them. It's optional, so who cares. It literally has no impact on you whatsoever.
-
Yes. But should be OPTIONAL. You dont like it DONT USE IT. Infact ALL game activities should have OPTIONAL matchmaking.
-
Only if it is OPTIONAL meaning if I choose to use the destiny in game match making I can. If I want to lfg, I also can.
-
I think raids should have matchmaking with random people OR you can still PICK your team then everyone would be happy on each side of the argument...
-
No and this topic is old so let it go bungie said no.
-
So bungie kicked u to orbit and u start again how would cp work
-
Nope. I don't think people randomly dropping in and out after every wipe is good. Just look at Matchmade raids in other mmo's - people drop in and out constantly. Now with 10-25 people in the group, that's no big deal, but in destiny that's a problem. Plus, most of the raid encounters require a lot of communication. Can you imagine how frustrating oryx would be with one person refusing to get on their platform at the right time? Match made raids either need a lower level/reward, like 28 POE, or they should not exist. And TBH I don't think many people would do them with a lower reward. A better idea is an in game area where people can post up what they need for the raid. It could work like monster hunter - you post a bulletin that you're looking for four more, doing hardmode oryx, comments on what light you want people to have and they can then apply to join your fireteam. This actually promotes finding people you want to play with, building friends lists, and most importantly people feel more dedicated to the outcome of the fireteam. This makes them less likely to quit or log early. I know some other people have thrown this idea out before - just sharing my point of view on it.

4 AntwortenNO! I stumbled through the Raids when they first came out and figured it out with other 1st timers. It's really not hard to use one of the group finding tools to get a fire team together to run a Raid. I guess because I don't want to sit there after 37 Raid completions and tutor a new player I'm an Elitist? I (we) Sherpa'd a couple of new guys through the Raid on normal and hard but now I (we) want to run it in 45 minutes and be done with it. I'm far from an Elitist. Just give experienced players a choice to Sherpa or not. A matchmaking tool should have two tiers. One for newcomers that are below 10 (Raid difficulty mode specific) completions and one for experienced players. By 10 completions you should be a competent player.... You will be forced to learn like the rest of us. The Bullsh!t crybaby entitlement participation trophy syndrome that ruins today's youth is all over these forums. I can't wait for you babies to go out into the world after you pop your moms nipple out of your mouths and experience real life.

Old raid yes. Current raid no. When your over levelled and just want to have fun. it's practically impossible to find someone to run crota now.
