No, we should have to use a 3rd party site to find players to play with :) There is no legitimate reason optional matchmaking isn't in game.

Bearbeitet von hmzr96: 12/12/2015 1:31:28 PMNo, when our team wants to 4 or 5 man KF we'll get put with randoms which are unwanted. They'll either get carried or ruin the strategy. Also sometimes I enjoy soloing CE which cant be done with matchmaking Edit: Also strikes are like mini raids and they are bad enough with people who randomly afk. This will happen with raids if there was matchmaking.

3 AntwortenNo...but I wish like heck that we could type comments on our emblems to let people know what we want to do. For example: I wish I could update my emblem's comment to say...Available for Full raid, or oryx hard mode, or Night Fall. That way when you are putting a team together...you can scroll through your friends list and see who is down immediately. Also, want to type..Completed the raid, currently working on Solo gaming. So I dont get spammed with invites.

Op is tomato
no

because then there would be a bunch of afk people
No, never
-
No but a way to find a group in game would be great.

Yup, will make the casuals very happy

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von KCChiefsfan53: 12/7/2015 7:20:58 PMWoW did it. In WoW you can do it with no mics and 25 random people. The issue is bringing the raid bosses down to just a slightly higher difficulty the strikes (only for the raid finder groups). The perfect example would be the one deej is misguided on, antiquated runes. Is it harder then a strike with randoms? Yes. Is it something that's going to take more then a couple wipes? No. You would have to adjust loot light levels accordingly. For normal raids and heroic raids you should have to go to lfg but bungie should also implement a raid finder difficulty so casuals can also experience every aspect of the 60-140 dollars they have spent. I also don't think this is a debate about if but more as when. If destiny really is going to become the ten year game of wants to be then catering to the casuals is inevitable.

Bearbeitet von Urban Shade: 12/10/2015 9:25:41 PMCourt of oryx is a perfect example of why raid matchmaking would suck. But a kiosk dedicated for LFG would be great.

Everyone seems to immediately become nihilists in this discussion. In no situation is there ever a possibility anything will ever work out. It's a surprise if any of these people join a crucible match without a full team for the fear is the match to consist of players mindlessly jumping out of the map or haphazardly shooting at the walls.

1 AntwortenOn face value yeah it'd be great for people who don't have a set group of people to raid with. Until. You search for a game, 2 of the people have never raid before, 2 don't have a mic, one doesn't speak your language and the other one is just singing down the mic drowning out everyone else. Then after all of that you finally get close to completing a section of the raid and someone goes AFK and it all falls apart. I don't understand what's wrong with using LFG, sure some teams have high requirements by that's only because they want to avoid the above situation.
-
1 AntwortenStraight matchmaking? No. In-game LFG.
-
1 AntwortenWhat, we dont have it?, we have been asking for it since vog, i know bungie listen to the community, ho yeah i for got. They dont give a shit xd. Maybe some silver money will change there mind.
-
1 AntwortenWhat I dont get is this. Bungie refuses to put in matchmaking because you'd be set up with randoms, and people you never play with. Yet they encourage the use of services like Destiny LFG and the forums to be set up with randoms and people you never play with! I don't know what they're smoking, but it's dangerous.
-
Nope. Nobody wants to carry randoms who can't raid.
-
1 AntwortenWhat about a place at the tower with type chat! Whoever up for the raid join this area. And find a team that suits, gear up an away you go.
-
It doesn't matter they don't make raids anymore.
-
No, there would people who don't have mics, or issues with their mics, or speak a different language, or go AFK, or have horrible connections, or are assholes, or just suck at the game, etc, etc.... It would be pretty much useless and no one would use it after a week because the odds of actually getting into a team that works would be next to impossible.
-
3 AntwortenThe only problem with that would be trolls or people going afk there would be no way to kick them
-
Not matchmaking like strikes, because all of the people who don't have a team would be matched up with a team of under levelled scrubs wanting to see what a raid was
-
Yes the raid should have the option, it will then give everyone the opportunity to Raid, it should have been in from the start. People may find it difficult at the start but they could maybe make new friends and get a full fire team to raid weekly.
-
1 AntwortenI honestly don't see why not. I end up hating half of the lfg teams I find anyway. At least matchmaking would save me a few minutes
-
Yes, sort of. There should be proxumity chat in all public areas where guardians can openly discuss raids and tactics. They can then join each other and form a raid group. This could be done in a designated area in tower if need be
-
Six man patrols would be all we need i figure .the ability just to join a group and hang out is key . Instead of hanging in orbit waiting for a fifth and sixth. Probably funner too. .
