Because usually with kids you end up getting this constant audio stream of consciousness. Here is an excerpt from a minute of starting off a Raid run with your average young human:
"hey, I only have 97 scout rifle rounds lef..oh my god guys, that centurion almost knocked me off. this run is going to be so OP. there's this kid at my school that told me we could find a chest in the left totem room, we should look. oh my god guys, these shields are never going to go down. hey, what is everyone's favorite primary to use? I really need some heavy amm...holy cow, that guy totally just super dunked the orb. do y'all ever wonder why the poison gas hurts you even though we have on space suits. hehe, that's so dumb. oh my god, that firefly explosion was awesome. does anyone know where moldering shards come from? YYEESSSSS! guys, I just got some heavy ammo. which sword do you think is the best? my cousin has all three of the swords and he told me that the void is the best, but I think that is because his middle school's colors are purple which means he should probably not like it because their football team totally sucks this year but I can't tell him that because then he would be mad at me and my mom would find out and..does anyone need to go invisible right now? My smoke grenade just recharged. I love to make other people go invisible..oh my god, what if we could have these in real life."

This is why "Not allowed in school zones"

3 AntwortenHonestly, this 10-12 year old is setting the worst possible stereotype for my age group. I'm generally really quiet. When I do say something, it's a question for clarification. My friends almost always get kicked immediately for burnt a 'squeaker' Give the 20% of us that are actually mature a chance.

A good question is when can I actually get Chalcedony, some really cool shader from the crucible playlist. And Beltane "Complete the Old Hunger Quest" I have touch of malice wasn't that the quest? Bungie can we please get access to these shaders anytime soon? I wanna know

1 AntwortenYup that's me, except for the personal stuff, but if I'm in a firetrap that is really quiet it's so boring. So usually I find a couple people like me and raid with them.

8 AntwortenHe would be a hunter.
-
Yeah that's not me

6 Antwortensounds like a kid having fun. you know, fun, that thing that people severely lack playing destiny. I'm 21 and 319 light and my raid groups always talk similar with deeper voices. It's fun not a tryhard mess with elitists who don't allow fun.
-
6 AntwortenYou know that not only kids say that stuff right? I've talked to adults who say some of that. Honestly if nobody talked like that I'd just have a very silent raid group.
-
One kid ran to the middle right before he stepped on the third plate and said "My dad was calling me, it's more important that Destiny you pricks." Oryx was at half health. He was booted.

5 AntwortenKids as in under 10 or under 18 or under 21
-
2 AntwortenI just can't stand these kids who leave their mics on so you hear all the ambient sounds from their house and such
-
no grills allowed
-
11 AntwortenThis is why I always do the kid test when adding someone from LFG..... "Hey"....persons response "hey"......So how much have you had to drink tonight......"nah, man I can't because..." *YOU HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THE FIRETEAM......

Bearbeitet von Szeth6678: 12/4/2015 1:26:44 AMI'll be completely honest with you m8, I usually am against having kids in the fireteam, but they aren't all that bad. Just last weekend I accepted a game/party invite from two random kids for trials, and we went flawless our first run. They dd have some of that talkativeness between games, but when the round was starting I would just say "Alright focus" and they'd snap back to the game. I didn't have to carry, either. They were better, both in combat and communication, than some of the adults I've played with. So I would say give the kids a chance, and if they're talkative but good at the game, just deal with it.

My 6yo is definitely gonna be that. He won't ever shut the FUCH up.
-
1 AntwortenYou know maturity varies with person to person, not age to age right?
-
Mate....I feel So, So, So Sorry for you, I would've screamed..
-
I used to be a quiet kid. You can always identify quiet kids on Destiny. They're the players you think are adults with no microphone.

12 Antwortenplease do not reproduce. I'll watch my 6 y/o play a match 10 minute Crucible match & listen to a 20 minute recount of the match when he's through. sometimes he'll go off topic for a few minutes, but he finds his way back...
or starts over.
up your patience. it will pay off in the long run. -- around 10 years ago I was at a buddy's house and his 8 y/o challenged me on Madden. he played all 4 quarters standing up, running in place, talking faster than he could think & destroyed me. same kid that took me through VoG, CE & KF (up to Oryx) today's squeaker is tomorrow's Sherpa.

I agree...but why does the poison gas hurt us inside our space suits...
-
2 AntwortenThe moments after you accept a game invite and you're just praying that it's quiet or calm when you fly in. Then like a billion elephant sized bees, your ears get overrun with nonsensical words. I hate that anticipatory result.
-
That sounds exactly like me
-
1 AntwortenI'm a kid and I don't act like this nor have I ever been told to leave a fireteam or been called a squeaker
-
Usually they call everything op

4 AntwortenDid you delete the F-Bombs out>? Would sound more legit if you kept it in.. lol
