This Is Why "No Kids"
Because usually with kids you end up getting this constant audio stream of consciousness. Here is an excerpt from a minute of starting off a Raid run with your average young human:
"hey, I only have 97 scout rifle rounds lef..oh my god guys, that centurion almost knocked me off. this run is going to be so OP. there's this kid at my school that told me we could find a chest in the left totem room, we should look. oh my god guys, these shields are never going to go down. hey, what is everyone's favorite primary to use? I really need some heavy amm...holy cow, that guy totally just super dunked the orb. do y'all ever wonder why the poison gas hurts you even though we have on space suits. hehe, that's so dumb. oh my god, that firefly explosion was awesome. does anyone know where moldering shards come from? YYEESSSSS! guys, I just got some heavy ammo. which sword do you think is the best? my cousin has all three of the swords and he told me that the void is the best, but I think that is because his middle school's colors are purple which means he should probably not like it because their football team totally sucks this year but I can't tell him that because then he would be mad at me and my mom would find out and..does anyone need to go invisible right now? My smoke grenade just recharged. I love to make other people go invisible..oh my god, what if we could have these in real life."

This while you're trying to explain roles/responsibilities to a new group. Can you not just STFU for 5 seconds while we get this sorted? As you can see from below, there are, of course, exceptions. I play regularly with my son, who is 12, and all of my reg crew and clan love playing with him. Not afraid to admit he's better than I am, and he (usually) keeps his stream of consciousness to himself. The only time I hear it steady from him is when he's raging in crucible. LOL

You need to learn to be patient. As a parent of two kids that play I learned patience. They will say things that don't make sense but they enjoy playing just like you. Don't act like a elitist please. All in all its just a game!

I hate playing with kids :@. I'm only 23 but shit I joined a party with a bunch of kids and they were just dicks. First off they aren't day one players In fact they weren't year one players Yet they had the audacity to inform me of my lack of knowledge about destiny... Stupid stupid generation. This is a story to show the difference between some kids. I, a kid, joined a group on hard mode war priest, went smoothly and we got to oryx with no problems and everyone happy. One guy had to leave so we found another. The "another" was a kid. Only he talked non-stop. would not shut up. was really rushed and nervous. and was trying to call out everything. did i mention he died a lot. Eventually everyone was fed up with him because we couldn't hear each other. He died on his plate and i said. "what killed you now" in a very annoyed, sarcastic voice. He left right after that. True story.

You forgot the part when you hear their mom screaming at them to get off the gamestation and go to bed because they have school tomorrow, lol. (true story) Obviously it's a bit of a generalization and they aren't all like this but dayymn I want to rip my ears off when it does. Stream of Consciousness is the perfect description.

Many of us as young gamers were probably similar, but didn't have internet. I remember when I played Ultima Online as a 14 year old that I was extremely courteous with the adults in my guild and was one of my servers top PvPers, and because of this, was always invited by adults to join their groups. Also a lot of adults are idiots, and the only difference is they have enough wisdom to include alcohol and sex into their topics of conversation. I think the annoying kids are just the eventual dumb adults. I'm 31 by the way, if that affects my statement.

4 Antwortenmy first LFG Oryx Hard kill, was led by an 11 yr old kid. He said, "he usually doesnt talk on the mic, because he gets kicked for being a kid ." He wasn't an idiot, very well spoken, and more of a teacher with patience than most adults that play this game. When someone messed up he was real thorough and with no bitching. Funny thing was ....he kicked one of the adults for belittling him during the daughters fight and it was deserved.

Lol this. I tried raids with some kids several times but a lot are like this and give me headache. They either talk all the raid long or think they know everything and try to tell what everybody should do.
