People asking for only "18+ NO KIDS"
What do you use to figure out that a person is not under 18? Do you have a copy of their birth certificate on hand? It's so stupid, I understand playing with "kids" is annoying. But the first time I beat the raid on hard i was the only one over the age of 18 and didn't complain once. Seriously grow up and just have fun with the game.

1 AntwortenI'm only 15 and I'm in the top 3% of Trials of Osiris on DTR. I don't see why people get mad at kids. It's a T rated game. Plus there is some cool kids out there, not every kid is a squeaker and annoying. Yes there are some out there and I probably am one of those. I am one of the highest pitched 15 year old on Destiny and one of the most annoying but I play with people who I found during trials and the whole clan is a bunch of 20 or 30 year old people. Most of them play with me everyday and don't find me annoying.

you have to be 18+ mentally, not physically... you can be in your 40s and still be considered a "kid"

Usually the voice and attitude of the player says enough about them. I've only played with 2 kids who were not absolutely annoying/screaming into the mic all the time.

1 AntwortenI don't think it's so much "need to be 18+" as it is a request for some form of maturity. I've entered a fireteam of screaming children using language that is simply unacceptable many a times. I don't have patience for the lack of focus or high pitch squeals during a raid or trials. I'm not saying goofing off isn't fine and all but at the end of the day we are all trying to get something done.

I dont like being in party chat with kids in the group and having the group talking about anything that could be considered an adult topic and than you hear the kids mom in the back screaming because she doesnt like hearing cussing or whatever coming from the party and than the kid gets in trouble and ends up dropping out leaving your fireteam a person short

Pretty sure as long as your respectful any teen could pass as 18+. Just don't be annoying and its all good.

There was a time when one younger teen player told my party " I can't stand those words, I don't like to hear any of them." The 2 offending words " hell and damn" If those were offending to him -then I'm pretty glad I made the move and exited him right out of the party because any longer he could of been damaged and ruined for life. Lol. It's also just awkward for a kid inside a total adult conversation. It probably wouldn't of affected game play but definitely feels like it's not a good fit otherwise.

1 AntwortenI hate playing with kids... but i use the term 'kids' very loosely. You can be 30 years old and a kid in my books. If you're a whiny little -blam!-, or you just bitch about everything, or you have an annoyingly high pitched voice i don't want you on my team. If you can hold your own and be respectful and have a laugh and enjoy yourself then i dont care if you're 13 or 60 or male or female. I have a 14 year old on my friends list who i guarantee can beat 99% of the people on this forum (he has a 2.2Kd) I've played with 60 year old dudes who could WTFpwn you in any end game activity. Age and sex means nothing really, as long as you can hold your own and play nice.
