I think it's childish to complain about an issue that you don't fully understand as if you know all the facts.... When you clearly play the game when you have three characters at 40 in the 290 light range (besides the warlock who currently has gunsmith weapons equipped)
I mean, if you feel so strongly then stop playing the game and don't spend money on it. But he bought the game and dlcs to get this far, which shows he is invested but now wants to complain about things he is making assumptions on.
If he really wanted the game to get better or make a legitimate complaint about company tactics, then this isn't how you get your voice heard in an adult world.
Bungie has admitted the story is flawed and the story has been told about what happened, it's a news article to be read. They pieced together what they could and presented it as is. The major argument here is over bungie cutting up destiny to be intended as DLC but if you look at year 1 and TTK content to compare, there is a clear distinction of difference where bungie is trying to improve and create story. If they simply cut out parts to be used as DLC for money, they wouldn't have invested more money to increase the quality of taken king story and content. i.e.: voice actors, new story cut scenes, and redid the ghost voice from year 1 because this community complained about it.

Anyone who bought ttk absolutely has the right to complain or voice their opinion even if not forums are meant for discussions not just whining or approving of how bungie does things. Their reason for leaving behind y1 weapons was to look toward the future and y2 was supposed to bring a whole new experience (yet they are bringing them back forcing you to get re-grind for them) They overhyped their own shit and are now getting the backlash from it Idk about you but the increased grind on everything and the so called "hard" raid has put me off from pve entirely even the challenge mode is ez mode only thing even remotely challenging is PvP and that's due to other players not the bad mechanics they have (even if the PvP is unbalanced as shit)

As long as you have year 1 version, you can buy year 2 version from kiosk, and if it's the marks that people say are the grind, you get at a minimum 30 a day just for doing daily crucible (which you don't even have to win) and daily mission. Also, they brought these back because people complained about having to grind for new gear missing their old gear, just like people in this argument are complaining about their old gear being obsolete. So make up your mind, do you guys want it back or not? And lastly, while you may complain about raid being easy, if you look at the numbers they have put out, there are ALOT of people that haven't even done it. Even the PvP aspect, trials is only performed by 1% of the population of destiny. So while the dedicated few may have burned through the raid quickly and be bored, there are thousands who haven't done it

(Still doesn't change the fact the grind is increased all around) I agree that thousands still have yet to do the raid and thousands will never do it other than getting a higher light the raid itself is offers nothing. Touch of malic? Only good for the raid. A few select weapons that are good all around? Can find better or equal alternatives outside the raid. I infused my ToM into another weapon because I knew I wouldn't do it again I found it fun the first time around doing it over 20 times just to get gear to do the harder version (which would only drop gear to make the harder one easier) does not seem fun to me at all. Now if challenge mode was an actual challenge might have some incentive to run it purely for the challenge alone.
