Excited for December update??
Explain your happiness/ frustration below please I'm interested to see how this will turn out because it is The biggest shotgun nerf ever to come to destiny supposedly...

2 AntwortenSooner or later we'll all be hitting each other with pillows because everything will be nerfed into the ground. Bungie adds more time sinks and continues to time gate both old gear and TTK content. Bungie doesn't have a clue as to where to take this game.

2 AntwortenI believe a couple things will happen. People who absolutely love shotguns will just camp(depending on how slow you move and weapon ready times) While they were low high reward. I feel now they will be high risks low reward instead of being balanced(high risks, high reward). Next, as a result, snipers will become the most used. Although they are not op, people will notice they're getting killed by them more and that means people will complain about them. Pulse rifles may be out this 'season' since some were nerfed to year one damage(9% damage debuff) Fusions may be relevant and could ease the focus on snipers if they were buffed correctly.

Shotguns have been a problem from the start and now finally they will be where they're supposed to be, at close melee range and then fusion rifles will have a spot in the meta

1 AntwortenAfter this update it will be the same old stuff all over again. 1 or 2 other weapons will rule the pvp grounds and in about 2 or 3 months we will see another weapons "balance" patch. Bungie listens to crybabies who always shout Nerf nerf Nerf. Not be guess is even afraid to let us re roll weapons or make good perks because the community will once again shout nerf Nerf nerf .

2 AntwortenCouldn't care less about weapon "balance." History says the odds are they'll just end up shifting the meta to a different primary and special instead of actually balancing things. But that's another discussion. What I'm actually curious about is the supposed new use for Etheric Light they've been hinting at. I'm hoping it's something that will offset the tendency of the game to give you gear rated well below your current Light Score. But I'm not holding my breath, sigh. Anyway: we'll see.
