Destiny dying is good for gaming. (Challenge mode is a farce)
Imagine if other developers copied their business practices and treat their customers with such contempt after copying bungievisions way's.

3 AntwortenDestiny is in a dry season, it's no surprise. But it's not dying. If it was dying, TTK would have been a flop, which it definately was not. Remember the dry season over the summer? When everybody thought Destiny was "Dead"? It wasn't then, it isn't now.

3 AntwortenSorry to say this, but any one excited for challenge mode is a sucker. It's just more time gated content to to make it seem like there is more content. Bungie will probably announce the next dlc soon and going by the contract is going to be shit, why you ask, because 2-1-2 look it up.

1 AntwortenDestiny isn't a bad game the same way battlefront and Titanfall aren't bad games when they offer the last expansion edition which comes with all the previous ones Ill probably buy it because then it will actually be worth the price tag then because as is it's quality over quantity(except the story that's neither)

Now with guaranteed 320 items you'll kick their asses. I'm waiting for really new stuff coming to destiny. And maybe we were all light Level 340 then....

18 AntwortenHalo 5, BO3, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront. All these games came out and Destiny is still one of the most played games. Don't get me wrong, it still lost A LOT of players, but it is still standing. It's not the game losing players that surprises me. It's the fact that it took 4 games to do this. I love Destiny. But loving Destiny and loving Bungie can be two totally different things. -[i]The guy with no house.[/i]

1 AntwortenThe only thing that bothers me about Year 2 is the lack of long term thought they put into all the major changes they were making to the game. The leveling/infusion system is a prime example. We all thought it was great at first, until getting 3 characters to end-game level and realizing you had an even lower chance of progression at that point than in Year 1. And I'm sure in the first few weeks of Year 2, no one including Bungie thought for a second that leaving VoG, CE, and PoE behind was gonna be a bad idea. Not with all the new content coming out. But, alas, I stopped playing a game I love over a month ago because I'm just straight bored of it. I'll be back when they give me a reason to come back. The lack of long term thought, that's the real issue here... They clearly didn't think this through to the end of the DLC cycle. But I'll be ready to lay down the dough for the next DLC, and until they release the final chapter of Year 10 I will be loyally standing by, hoping they figure out just how good this game could be... Until then, Just Cause 3/Fallout/Black Ops 3/Madden will get me by just fine.

2 AntwortenGotta agree.. ever since ttk ive done 1 or 2 Nightfalls & haven't wanted to do anymore.. the grinf isnt worth it.. same for Raid.. no weapon Aside from ToM thts worth raiding for. plus those 7 strikes.. they should've added all the old strikes to the lvl 36 Playlist etc.. sadly its no longer fun..

Seems that way to me as well. Our Clan used to run the Raids several times a week now we're struggling to get a three-man Fireteam together because court of Oryx went stale pretty quick, prison of elders is too easy now, same goes for VoG and CE. PvP is just so laggy and even I can't tell people "have patience, they'll make it better" anymore. Challenge Mode? Pfft, I actually don't care because it's the same thing we've been doing for quite some time now. (Oh yeah, it has some modifiers -whoopdydoo) And after 3 expansions/dlcs I have learned that maximizing your lightlevel is pretty pointless because next dlc. I just hope Bungie comes up with some great Ideas. Either that or that the Division will be as good as it looks.

15 AntwortenChallenge mode look's superb, bungie really put a lot of effort into giving you guys more content and stuff to do. Hat's off to them the new mechanic's and modifiers are exceptional.
