I don't mistreat PS3 owners. But the graphics are so simple in the Oryx battle, Oryx is a big green circle, Guardians are small red squares, And they shoot tiny tiny red circles at Oryx til he breaks up into green pixels.

I imagine they're leaving last gen behind with Destiny 2, so extending that offer to them doesn't make a ton of sense.

Everything old gets left behind, if you play call of duty you would know that it was only $50 but it will not be getting any dlc, it sucks but eventually they will need to drop old gen just like xbox and ps2.

There is a great video made right after the vault space increase reveal. Smith or the other guy were explaining how during the vault design they found 1Mb of memory and were shocked that they could pull off the increase for last gen. The business perspectives are just that... Paying a programmers wages to optimize a program is not cheep. It's a business decision to move away from things that cost more than what can be made back. Paying someone 40-80k a year to program and only selling back a few k is not a good deal. Just saying don't make it to be a personal thing.

There's no longer any point in ANY company other than Microsoft and Sony supporting old tech and old games. Those systems are over a decade old and already replaced years ago. I hear Christmas is coming up...

Should have seen it coming honestly. Destiny 2 is almost guaranteed to be xbox one/ps4 only. Same thing as when ps3 and 360 came out, companies have to phase to the newer, more powerful systems.

Happens every time a new console comes out. The old one stops having games made for it and all other support for it stops.

I'm glad they're leaving last gen behind. You guys will STILL be able to play Y 1 and 2. When Destiny 2 comes out, you'll be able to not buy it and not be disappointed. Don't upgrade, stay on the old systems so you won't be disappointed.
