Anyone ever gotten an exotic engram without 3oC?
The 3oC description say it INCREASES the chance of an exotic after killing an ultra so I assume that it's possible to get one without 3oC.

One dropped for me after killing tanics 2 days ago turned into a 310 Warlock helm, which I already had

I used to farm strikes and get exotics. Now I have to actually rely on 3oC or nightfall/raid loot. The base strike rewards are alright but I know for a fact they lowered the drop rate of exotics to 0.01%.

I use the Draxis/Ultra Knight run and I got a 310 Bad juju.

I've had some legendary engrams turn into exotic, buy only a couple of times

No. Anyone one that says they got one outside of the raid is high or forgot they had a 3 of coins equipped.

possible i got 2 exotic primary drop from HM oryx the other night without even popping 3oC

I have not. But I know Legendary's changed to exotics. 3 times in year one, and twice since taken king... Never found an exotic Engram without the coins.

Got several without 3oC. When doing strikes, I got maybe one exotic engram every 20-30 strikes (or something around there). With 3oC I get one every 4-8 strikes.
