Who here hasn't beaten Hard mode and why!?
So let be serious who hasn't beaten hard mode yet? Don't be shy!!!
Edit1: over 500 replies let's keep it going, it's interesting to see why people haven't cleared it and bungie is already making a challenge mode for it!
Edit2: lets keep this rolling! Never thought the results would be one sided!! Also don't forget to up vote this so more people can see this thread!!!
Edit3: well we have received allot of feedback and it's amazing what the results have been so far!!! So my 2nd question and I might make it another poll but which part of the raid are you having the hardest time with?

Not really interested in beating hard mode. VOG hard mode is worth way more of my time and it was fun.

Because nobody on my friends list plays Destiny anymore. Pug groups are a joke nobody prepares for doing hard mode and expect u to carry them and explain everything. The rng sucks and my number one reason is NO RAID SPECIFIC EXOTICS!!! Folks at one time had a reason to farm raids. We did it for the chance of rare exotic drops that could only be obtained through a raid. People have lost interest in Destiny so much has changed and not for the better. Year one players we got the best of Destiny and its sad folks now do not get to experience the joy we had playing this game.

I work full time and still manage to do three full raids a week with lfg randoms. Some weeks take longer than other but I really think people should stop making excuses.

Shitty server Shitty company Terrible community who use donations to hide their "badass" attitude to disabled (to those who don't at least there some hope) Bad mechanic especially to the loot. No revive (as a way to punish you for playing this broken game)

There are some missions where they pit you against some very powerful enemies and you are trapped with no where to hide. I can not stand missions like that. I always have to have an escape when things get too overwhelming to control the situation. If I can't do that, it is not worth fighting. And well, the Taken are some of the most challenging enemies I ever have to fight. They overwhelm me quite often.

I've completed every single part of hard except Oryx

I've completed normal mode on a few occasions but I have had trouble with getting a group together strong enough to do the hard raid which sucks but it's the way life is when you need to get the fireteam together before starting and the part I find the most difficult in the whole raid is the totems where the team needs to go either side and rotate

Just finished normal mode last week and I'm only 306, with crap weapons and no good friends. Aaaaaand for some reason people think I mess up on easy parts, but I haven't messed up on anything important since I first did the raid. Plus I don't really have time for hard mode yet ;)

I wasn't hungry for the raid because I didn't need dessert. I was starving for raids in year one because there was no substance in any other content.

Can't find a fireteam. I still argue that the raid needs matchmaking. Just do match making with the option to boot. This way everyone can find a game and it a squeaker or a guy with no mic joins you can vote them out. If most of the raids I've done to date were organised with randoms through Reddit posts why can't I just find a random team in game instead of leaving to find one online. It's stupid.
