Give me a reason to switch from old gen Xbox to new gen Xbox
I have been researching lately that old gen players on their consoles (including PS3) have not been getting the benefits of a average new gen player in destiny. I play on old Xbox 360 and I love Destiny do not get me wrong, however I am disappointed with Bungie. I play Destiny pretty averagely and know the mechanics, but I notice that new gen players are getting extra benefits in Destiny that us old gen players cannot get all because they spent 400$ worth of what, better graphics? That is stupid how I sit and enjoy my day of playing Destiny knowing that I spent an average of 140+ dollars on a game that does not give you what you have payed for. I guess what I am trying to say is the old gen should not be pushed away from the goodies just because they are not new and improved.

More games will be coming out in next gen only so you'll miss out on some great buys, they can do the same thing old gen can do but more and better, and your holding us back

Right now, there are only a handful of 360 games you can play, but more titles are getting added in the future. Unfortunately, a lot of the communities demands are out of reach for last gen consoles. They just aren't strong enough to run it. Eventually you'll have to upgrade, but as of right now I think you can probably get away with staying last gen.

Sold my 360 and kinect with a bunch of games for 175, bought lightly used Xboner on Craigs for 125 more. Even came with destiny.

Its not because they bought new consoles, its because old consoles, are well, old. They have limits, which have been pushed for years. But sadly, I think they are coming to an end when it comes to newer games. With no new hardware, it is amazing what the ps3 and 360 have done, but some things are just too advances for the old consoles.

Buy a console bundle with a better game, -blam!- destiny.

You'll have to do it sooner or later because they are slowly phasing out the old gen consoles.

I think the biggest reason to go from 360 to Xbone is that they're adding backwards compatibility. All your 360 games will become relevant and you get to play new games. It's a win-win

Not you personally, but last gen is holding back the potential for Destiny as a whole, I'm on the Xbone and I hear the loading times on 360 are straight garbo. They will be dropping last gen for the next big Destiny release, so it's either drop last gen now and become acclimated to the new hardware or do it in a year or so.

But with destiny it's really a big jump the graphics are so vivid and everything is so smooth and destiny is gonna leave 360 and PS3 behind very soon

More lfg groups. You'll be left behind in destiny 2, fairly soon in all games. It's faster. Has more support and more players. I'd upgrade. It's time. It's on sale.

Switched a long time ago, in early 2014. The new games, features, and even the controller were an easy sell for me. And while I never figured it would come in handy, I actually really like the tv through Xbox thing. The graphics and general fluidity of newer games is something you don't realize is huge until you go next gen.

Bearbeitet von Xprez: 11/27/2015 9:26:40 PMMe and my gf got our Xbones yesterday, after several years on 360. Been playing Destiny since launch and I highly recommend upgrading. Its a whole new world, the 360 just cant keep up with the graphics and mechanics. Everything is smooth and responsive on the One, versus slow and laggy on the 360. Good luck either way.
