Bungie do something about ToM please!!
So recently I've started doing hard mode Kings fall and I've been kicked from every group I've been in just cause I don't have Touch Of Malace. There was a reason you didn't make Gjallerhorn Y2. So please do something about this.
Edit: Thanks for all the replies. Guess I'm gonna have work on the quest now and then do the raid as its near impossible at the moment for me.
Edit: I'm not asking for a nerf...

2 AntwortenI have Touch, but I often don't use it, and I've never been kicked. Loadouts have nothing to do with being kicked.

2 AntwortenIn my groups I don't require you use it. But if you don't have it, then you clearly don't put much effort into this game. That is the problem for me. The gun has its benefits, but it is not the only way to beat the raid.

Oh no you have to do some work to get the endgame exotic that's been out for 6 weeks now!! Harsh!!

(Part) of the reasons they didn't make Gjallarhorn year 2 was because it was excluding people from groups. A lot of people didn't have it because they didn't get lucky. Touch of Malice, although I personally don't require it, is a reasonable requirement because it is completely plausible to get by effort, no luck required.

A) Don't join a group that requires Touch of Malice. It's not all that necessary. B) Get a Touch of Malice. It's pretty easy to acquire.

I just need to kill oryx for mine lol I have horrible luck with raid groups they always fall apart at oryx I'm 311 and don't get kicked cause I don't have the malice just have to hold my own and I do

The ToM is available for anyone to get at anytime so just find the time to get it. It's really not needed but it definitely makes things alot easier for sisters and oryx. Also, the quest isn't really that hard.

Not sure if you have played other mmos but in those games there are quests or gearing that you do in order to give you optimal damage/resistance to a boss. In games like Everquest/Wow you would acquire resistance gear to better survive an encounter or complete a quest in order to get access to a raid. You complain about ToM and don't realize that Bungie could have made it a requirement in order to unlock Hard Mode. Which personally I believe that would have been a nice challenge and achievement much like attunement quests were in WoW. However the community may not be ready for something like that during this stage of the games development. So they did the next best thing, they gave you a pretty straightforward quest that can be completed with nothing but time investment in order to acquire a component which is extremely helpful for dps when aura of immortality is active. Just do the quest if you want as it is pretty easy and it helps your fireteam. If you choose not to do the quest then that is your decision but don't be upset when not completing the quests blocks you from activities you want to participate in.

Dude, how about instead of begging Bungie to change the gun, you [i][b]go do the quest to get the gun?[/b][/i] You can't compare this gun to gally. Because, unlike gally, everyone can get one [i]whenever[/i] they want. Go get it, and stop complaining.

The difference was gjallehorn was purely rng, ToM is a quest reward
