Snipers aren't the problem Neither are shotguns The problem is that they're power weapons. And that they are readily available at all times

Hell, they're the only viable Special Weapon choice in endgame PvE content even. Apparently them being usable at any distance is OK, but Fusion Rifles and Shotguns get rapidly nerfed for being usable outside of their intended ranges. Balance amirite?

3 AntwortenI'll complain about the aim assist on the new snipers, but, it's just because I like my old Efrideets Spear so much that the aim assist on the new ones throws me off. Or maybe it's the recticles on the new sniper scopes that is doing it. Either way, I'm going back to the old reliable Speer that has been so good to me...

Are you having fun sniping in your little nest while changing your tampons bitches? Jk I don't really care. If I get sniped, I get sniped. Just flank em and that's it. They can't see all around and if they are looking down their scope, they can't see you on radar. If you try and they still kill you, you -blam!-ing suck. I don't snipe and still manage to kill snipers with ease. Git gud scrubs

I rage when constantly sniped... I can't do it so I don't... I do use a shotgun and I can't kill at range because I don't try to its a melee range weapon... Sniping requires more reflexive skill so I respect those that can snipe well I just hate it because I need to be close.... Sooo I find alternate ways yo get to a sniper denying them their strength and using mine but the true skilled snipers are the ones that snipe me in MY optimum range! Point blank headshot while being rushed I call bullshit but it's requires more skill than I have so kudos to those that can =D I don't think shotgun's or snipers need too much tweaking, but being a shotgun user there should be no single buff to increase range or perks to do so either... It's designed to be an"in your face weapon" so unless you are only just outside of melee range by a frame or two or in range shouldn't be effective.... To balance snipers should always have a slow reload and no rifle should have a reload buff... Snipers can still keep you out of range and if not at least make you think about stepping into the open... Just like a sniper should feel fearful if a person has a shotty in their face and shouldn't be penalized for it, if I can outflank and get in that range then why shouldn't it be a near 1 shot kill? Just my thoughts is all

Yeah but realistically even though I am probably below average only the weapons I use should be good and everyone else should be firing potato guns.

Anyone who complains about snipers in Destiny are bitch ass scrubs. They should go play BO3 to see what snipers could really be like if Destiny weapons were more powerful. Basically every bullet is a final round.

Sniping will always take more skill than shot gunning (forgetting litc) People also need to understand what aim assist does and how it does a lot less then they think Also, I'm gonna be honest, there really aren't many campers with snipers in destiny at all. Camping is sitting in one spot, hard scoping and not moving. Camping is [b]not[/b] holding down an area strategically Anyway rant over. Sniping takes skill.

It's not the snipers themselves, the new maps are just a snipers dream....when you can use a sniper as a primary then there is an issue. All guns have their "Ideal" attack range......except snipers, they apparently are designed to be used as a short range and long range weapon. Bungie is the problem and the noobs that abuse the faults within the game.

Agreed..... Sniper dont bother me at all Actualy there is no weapon that bothers me in all destiny metas, besides the pulse rifles in this meta..... Autos, vex and thorn metas did not make me mad..... But the pulses now do

Totally agree with you. The thing is, this community is full of horrible PvP players who blame deaths on a weapon and not their lack of skill. If you pay attention to the people crying "nerf" snipers, it's all shotgun heavy players.

And you could be aimed right at their head but if they are out of range the bullet drops by the time it gets to them and it isn't quite a head shot. You actually have to compensate for distance. Now on to destiny logic. When you revive someone you have a 1 second shield, but the revived person is totally vulnerable to be insta-killed by the chicken sheet just aiming down scope indefinitely on your ghost with no ill effects to holding that gaze for that long. And LiTC one kill body shot, please. If you are arguing that is skill....get good scrub. EDIT: oh and OP, grow a pair the next time you post something like this and post it from your actual account you play destiny from. This account has not played destiny. That means you like to post crap like this but don't want people to see what you actually do in game.
