Why is the sunbreaker being nerfed?
I'm a 302 Titan and to be honest.......the sun breaker doesn't need to be nerfed. The sun breaker can still be defeated by
.Long range snipers
.Nova bomb
.Golden gun
.Fist of havoc
.Night stalker
.Sunsinger...well not really unless your really lucky.
.Arc blades
.Grenades
.Stormcaller
To be honest if there was one thing I would nerf it would be the golden gun.
3 shots 1 hit killing any other enemy.
The golden gun lasts for 15-30 seconds.
While they can both kill each over 1 shot why is bungie picking on sun breakers?
Most of the people who are say "Nerf sun breaker" are players who don't have the taken king. WHY ARE YOU GUYS WHINING? You non-taken king players can kill us sun breakers no matter the weapon.
Why is bungie picking on titans? NERFING A SUNBREAKER? Bungie I don't know what idea you guys are coming up with but come on! Nerfing A SUBCLASS? You guys need to stop whining and grow up. Bungie. I honestly really hope you guys re think you guys are gonna do.

FYI, Golden Gun lasts [i]just under 11 seconds[/i] if you don't fire a single shot. You could throw 3 hammers and [i]still[/i] have HoS last longer than GG. I'm sorry, I know facts hurt your argument. I'll stop. Anyway, we are wayyyyy past discussing whether HoS is OP or not. The nerf is coming in a few weeks. Prepare yourself.

Okay so I've played every class and I've recently been working on a solar Titan. I can tell you that the hammer throwing is a lot harder than it looks. Does this justify it's power? Probably not but there is definetly skill to throwing hammers effectively and should we nerf skill?

14 AntwortenGolden Gun lasts 12 seconds without firing a shot, Sunbreaker lasts around 26-30 seconds without throwing a hammer, GG only gets 3 shots, 4 with year 1 helmet, Sunbreaker can throw up to 7 hammers. Golden Gun has no health regen and no damage resistance, Sunbreaker has both. Explain to me again why GG is more OP than Sunbreaker?

I'm a titan and I agree Sunbreakers need a nerf because of the duration. That is all. You literally simply run away from it. Or if they're a dumb one just run in circles around them. (Trust me it worked in trials). The duration should be lowered about 5-10 seconds.

Hammers track, have insane range, can heal you, plus you get an armor buff, and can make it last longer. I started as a Titan during the alpha, and sunbreaker is op. If a taken tot is going to make a post like this, at least get your fuking facts straight.

Instead of overshield, it should initiate health regen like blade dancer does. So they still get a heal perk but it's not op and can be countered. To me, blade dancer is closest to sunbreaker w/ large amount of hits per super and tanking ability of health regen. If a sunbreaker can run out into crossfire from a fire team of 5-6 and not really worry, it's OP. A blade dancer will get killed going into crossfire from a fire team of 5-6, maybe get a couple kills but will always die.

I would go flawless ever week across all 3 characters and now that things have change via matching up against better people (making it harder to go flawless), we was 8-0 lost our mercy 8th game... started the last game again to go down 4-2 quickly against a team of snipers (which they were good) but anyhow we somehow managed to tie it 4-4.. starts last round team mate gets dome'd other teammate revives him only for him to get dome'd (firefly killed both)... I was left by myself... as I sat there contemplating the revive my team mates begin to yell rush rush rush... me with no worries sat and waited... boom hammer time... smacked all 3... warlock then tried to res only to get hammered again... flawless complete first one of year 2... thanks to the OP sunbreaker and yes I main a titan and I know it's OP but that's what supers are intended I thought? Lolololol

1 AntwortenRight yeah golden gun that can't can't even one shot everything and lasts 12 seconds definitely needs to be needed before the 7 one shot hammers that last 27 seconds.

1 AntwortenWhy? Sunbreaker has 55% damage reduction rather than the normal 50%, but that 5% is one of the best and op 5% there ever was. Sunbreaker gets about 7 hammers total. Duration is pretty long. It can one shot almost any super, except for Stormcaller. Stormcaller also has 55% damage reduction but it takes time to kill.

Bungie not playtesting their own product. They leave it up to the consumer, which in turn leave a broken stafe of curcible.

1 AntwortenThis is just my opinion nobody else's I think just the time of the hammer should be nerfed. I run a Titan mainly for pve but not pvp, I use all my classes and seem to like the hunter in pvp the best. The Titan just needs a little tweak but bungie will need into the ground so that hunters will be the op class once again

16 AntwortenBecause whenever the Sunbreaker encounters another super, it one shots them(excluding FoH). Arc Blade for example will take 2 swipes while 1 hammer will obliterate them. Same with Stormtrance, it will take 2-3 secs maybe less to kill a Sunbreaker. Within that time 1 hammer will kill them to.GG especially, if the titan has max armor, it will survive the GG shot, since GG has no armor increase, they get obliterated also. And that, my dumb ignorant friend who is a scrub at this game, is why Bungie is nerfing the Sunbreaker
