People Hate Snipers Now??
So...When did this happen? 2 months ago people wanted more sniper usage, but now people are saying that people need to use PRIMARIES more. How stupid could you be? If someone sniped you, then you made a dumb decision. Also people say "How can you get sniped from a foot away, that's what shotguns are for," with the release of new, shorter ranged maps (Vertigo, the Dungeons, Cathedral oD). I am a pretty good sniper, and would hate a sniper nerf/special weapon nerf. So suck it up, or get better.
EDIT: 270 Comments, So far more people are for snipers than against!

I don't think anything but invective needs adjusting as far as special weapons go. Reduce special ammo spawns to four or five minutes. Then, increase regen time and reduce impact to use more shots per kill for invective.

Snipers have always been there but now alot more people are using them. Not really a big deal easy kills with the right timing

20 AntwortenTo be entirely fair, I've always hated snipers in any PvP mode. PvE is fine, but can't stand it in PvP. Feels cheap and cowardly. Not really my playstyle anyway.

They should have just nerfed special ammo again instead of nerfing shotguns into oblivion. Now every game with be both teams just hard scoping hallways all game. I can't even begin to curb my enthusiasm.......

Personally never a fan of sniping but have gotten the hang of it.

They secretly buffed the aim assist imo. But oh well I'm not bitching if I played trials I'd just adapt and use one myself just like I did with shot package shotguns

4 AntwortenIt's not the snipers exactly, it's just the kids. They have to be mad at something, or else they're not having fun. Or they're scared that somebody is gonna be better than they are. There was never anything wrong with any of the guns or subclasses, there was/is always a way to counter it. They're all just a bunch of poor sports.

It's because about 25% of this community is ruining everything by being obnoxious crybabies begging for anything that kills them to be nerfed. They are toxic tryhards, and everyone else wishes they would leave forever.

Others like myself, have put the shotgun down, didn't whine about it, and are working on getting better at sniping rather than bitching about needing skill and pretending it's just aim assist

It's the community that's terrible at sniping, not everyone is skilled and those that aren't skilled bitch and moan for nerfs due to lack of skill. when will bungievision realize this?
