"Remove aim assist"
All of these 11 year old think that destiny is the only game with aim assist since its probably their first fps, honestly smh to how stupid some people are....
Every shooter has aim assist, but the fact that some guns have higher aim assist values than other guns is a little wired I agree to reducing aim assist a little bit for the higher aim assist snipers like Waylorans March but removing it like are u kidding me how old are you?
Edit: I'm talking about console people, it's because of how consoles use controllers it's way less accurate than mouse and keyboard that's why aim assist is only a thing on console games

I honestly just want an option to turn it off, it messes with my aiming a lot. I think I have it turned off for most other games.

Aim assist in general is fine, although seriously the first game that makes aim assist not start tracking new targets in the middle of a firefight will be an instant purchase from me. Nothing pisses me off more than dying because the game wanted me to start shooting a full health guy who crossed the line of fire. Aim assist as a [i]stat[/i] like rate of fire and impact and stability that you can build for is pretty absurd. Also the fact that the range stat is also directly related to aim assist further pushes range as the obviously most important stat in the game when honestly if aim assist were to be tied to any other stat it should have been stability. Obviously the aim assist values of sniper rifles and auto rifles should be different and work differently, but at the very least every auto rifle in the suros archetype should have the same aim assist and every auto rifle in the atheon's epilogue archetype should have the same aim assist and so on. Ballistics should replace the stats that scopes give and scopes should be purely cosmetic (with the exception of zoom) and should be able to be changed at the gunsmith.

[b][i][u]ALL[/u][/i][/b] shooters had zero aim assist until Bungie made aim assist in Halo Combat Evolved. Don't be saying every shooter has it when there is a lot that don't have it. There is also a lot of games on console that lets you turn off aim assist in there options.

6 AntwortenThere is normal aim assist and then there's Destiny style which gives you the kill because you're aiming in the enemys general direction. Aim assist as in "Sticky aim" is there in all shooters, often with the option to turn it off. This causes the the crosshair to stick to the enemy, but you must still have the crosshair on the target to hit them. Destiny has a supersticky aim, but also the magic ability to re-route the bullet to the nearest target, so you can aim 5 inches to the left of the enemys head, but the bullet will still hit it's target. It's all space magic, isn't it? By the way, speaking of aim assist, Garlic bread with lots of virgin olive oil, and a touch of fresh basil is the way to go.
