From inside, they could see much of the city as the helicopter climbed into the sky. The door gunners stood in their harnesses and scanned with their M134 miniguns, watching for anything out of the ordinary. Crossing into the Southwest District, the helicopter made its way out to the desert. Moving at full throttle, the helo began to descend as it flew out of the city. Below, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles thundered into the city, kicking up clouds of dust as they went. Other, different helicopters were seen dispatching recon troops, MH-6 Little Birds. Now beyond the city after 45 minutes, the Black Hawk was riding roughly one thousand feet above the ground, the desert features were clearly visible, and smaller refueling stations and prison camps belonging to Venom could be seen. Despite this, there seems to be no area that looks anything like a main base. Another twenty minutes in, and the helo continues, and suddenly it seems that a massive staging base appears out of nowhere. The base is absolutely massive, and heavily defended. Artillery and SAM sites line the triple perimeter gates, all of which are nearly seventy-five feet tall, with massive spikes and guard towers atop each. Four massive runways and multiple massive hangars are seen. A massive fuel depot and tons of armored vehicles are seen. Aircraft are seen being armed and refueled, and men are seen riding back and forth in humvees and airport taxis. Massive bunkers are seen built into the hills and a firing range is seen to the rear, where tanks and artillery are seen practicing their accuracy. The helicopter moves to land on the first runway, as directed by air traffic control crewmen. As it lands, the gunner on the left gestures for you to exit the aircraft.[/i]
