The shotgun's reign of terror is coming to an end. And shotgun player's tears taste delicious.
Sorry shotgun players. No more cheap easy kills. You better get some actual skill if you want to keep using the shotgun. No more sliding into a doorway and killing someone all the way across the room. No more blinking near an enemy and blasting him for a kill. No more charging around a corner and killing an enemy in one shot at a ridiculous distance. If you want shotgun kills when the update hits you're going to have to actually get up close and personal.

Usually i come close enough to kill and i aim to the head ...so im really excited to enjoy the damage buff for headshot with The Chaperone

I have already moved on. Found a good fusion rifle called the vortex. I've been using it with out upgrading it to see if it's good without any perks and it does work. I gave up on shotguns after being killed by ridiculous ranges or being killed by a follow up melee by a warlock( cause we all know they have longer ranged melees). I can't snipe. Not without someone abusing the aim assist on the 1000 yard stare. The Meta suck. Not as bad as HoW, but the fact that most people rely on their special weapon crutches is enough to say that things need to be fixed in the crucible.

Shotguns were never dominant. People were just so shit that they didnt know how to look at their radar to avoid getting killed by them.

The only thing I detest about shotties is the imma hide in this corner/door / tight hallway and wait for someone to come to me, and it's the same with people just scoped down a hallway with a sniper ( *cough* pantheon *cough*)

1 AntwortenHeh, you talk as if you're better. AA on snipers is huge, take almost half of it away and you will pick out the weak snipers who just rely on AA. And then we will see who has the most tears, but until then.l, I'll still kill you with a shotgun.

I use shotguns and snipers and yes some shotguns have very op range but can still take skill to use as well as snipers just can't see why people can't use both and be happy

You can take out a running hare at 200ft with a shotgun. The wildlife council called, they'd be quite happy with pre-December nerf Destiny shotguns in real life as they already play like melee weapons.

I do not approve of the use of female characters in gears in ranked games, but this should suffice. https://youtu.be/paX6-nzeZgo If someone is avoiding fire to get close to you to risk you hitting them with an easy kill in an attempt to land a single, well placed shot, then I will always have more respect for them than those afraid to leave the safety of there tents to meet of the an opponent head on under the fire of other players. And if you want to use a sniper rifle, those skilled with a Longshot can be terrifying in a close ranged fight.

Overnight sidearms are going to go from being used by about 9 people to being the new "needs to be nerfed" weapon lol.
