So for all you Idiots out there, loading these forums up with I Love You letters to Bungie. Or all you Noobs hanging from Destiny's used, soiled jock strap. This game was slated to be the best game ever made. But sold its soul for more money. Your money. Which they got.
Now, being sold for $19.99 at GameStop only after a year since release? Any successful title would still be $45. This project has now blown up in Bungie's face. This is why Microsoft didn't pay for the exclusives that Sony's idiot ass so eagerly jumped on.
Destiny is a Frankenstein remnant of what could've been the perfect build.
EDIT #1: For those of you morons who are defending this game & garbage DLC's. You're basically telling the Dev's, "Hey! We don't care what the content is or the price. We'll buy it anyways!!!" So Activision & Bungie are sitting back reading your toxic, moronic filth & saying, "Well boys! We got them hook, line & sinker! We can charge $40 for every DLC & give them nerfed weapons, Nerf their current gear, force them to grind for crappy replacement gear & just re-skin House of Wolves over & over again. And they'll buy it!! No work for us! They'll buy anything we put out!!! Hahahahaaa!!!"

20 AntwortenYou pretty much missed the whole point of the Kotaku article. Joe' story was so terrible that they had to dump it and they only had one year to try and do 5 years worth of development. And they've been playing catch up ever since.

1 AntwortenI knew nothing about Destiny before I played the alpha. I still knew very little by the time I played the beta. By the time I bought the release, the only stuff I knew was what I had seen from playing. I've always enjoyed playing this game in whatever state it's been in. All the preproduction stuff means absolutely -blam!- all, unless you are a fanboy. Hundreds of thousands, no, millions of people have played this game. Millions probably still play it. I would hazard a guess that 95% of those people don't give a -blam!- about the crap you have put in your post.

No game is $45 when the new version comes out. Now you pay $60 for ttk and all prior dlc. If destiny 1's original disc was still $45 you would be a moron to buy it. I mean go buy madden 15 it's not $45

I guarantee that half of you who are leaving for fallout 4 haven't even played 1 or 2, or people leaving for blops III haven't played cod at its prime. So let me make this very clear when I say that you guys who are saying "I feel cheated and lied to" are completely unaware on how content has been provided for the past few years. I could give you some examples, but the games Id say have already finished the drip feeding to it would be irrelevant.

4 AntwortenDo you guys realize that by making these "Destiny is Dead" threads you are actually keeping it alive? But besides that, everyone is just taking a break from Destiny while enjoying the new games that came out. Bungie has more in store for this game and once they roll out a couple more stuff people will come back and it's not a big deal. For the record, yes, I am bored of Destiny. But it's how I felt after a couple months after Launch and after HoW. It's understandable to get bored of a game which is why you play another.

3 AntwortenI agree with just about everybody except for the thing about it being sold for $19.99. This makes sense for the original game to be sold for $19.99 because the taken king edition costs more.

I'm surprised that people can actually play this game without vomiting after seeing all the lies, flaws, and absolute bullshit this game has gone through. Only thing we can do is move on, unfortunately. It just takes a matter of time before Bungie screws up big-time, and maybe they'll get what they deserve.
