To the Desticles defending/excusing LITC...You have no argument. Randomly awarding players a 1-hit kill when they miss their headshot creates inconsistencies. Good gameplay comes from predictable, stable, balance.
Any type of RNG has no place in pvp. If you want a level playing field you would not support random free kills.

14 AntwortenI find this perk valid. You had the same chance to get the gun as everyone else. You didn't and now you're whining. I have the gun but don't use it much vs my other snipers. Maybe they should nerf the AA on 1000 yd stare!

No one was consistently getting toe shots with it..... what will your excuse be when you are still dieing to snipers all day long?

Eh...I use snipers in pve, not a big pvp player...mostly cause it's a joke and people act like it's serious.

5 AntwortenCmon man, you can't deny that the1000 yard stare is infinitely easier to use. If anyone lands 1 shot from any weapon on an enemy and you follow up with a 1000 yard it's a 1 hit kill anyway.

4 AntwortenIf you don't like RNG you shouldn't be playing destiny. LiTC was fine, there was no way to plan body shot kills like final round. I have two of them and don't really like the sniper so I don't use it. But personally I've only been one shot in the last month maybe a handful of times.

Considering shotguns are almost completely irrelevant in PvE, if is safe to assume OP runs a shotgun in Crucible. OP has no real grounds to criticize someone based on a KD.

I agree about one shot body kills. What I don't agree with is the call to nerf snipers in general. The snipers perform the way snipers should perform (minus LitC). Not any scrub can pick up a sniper and automatically be op. Actually most snipers I come across in PvP are pretty bad. People need to understand that the skilled players will always be better than you, a weapon nerf won't change that. They will just find another weapon to kill you with and then what? Nerf that also? Stop crying for nerfs and practice to be able to hang with better players. I'm average in PvP and never would I ask for a nerf. It's pointless.

But potatoes are valuable and blueberries are great, but however LITC isn't s good idea even if you want to get that exotic engram to drop from that sunbreaking titan since you stacked like 40 ToCs

10 AntwortenWhile I'd agree Luck needed to go, that's hardly going to be the end of the sniping problems. With the unneeded nerf coming to shotguns people will turn to sniper rifles more and more, and there are already a lot more of them than there used to be. This will especially be true because a main counter to snipers was rushing them with shotguns, and that's going to be much more difficult now. Snipers can get headshots under fire and have no real range-based drawbacks. It's going to get ridiculous come December.
