It is rare that any of the other supers kill more than 3 people ever so why do titans have massive radius damage and 6 or more hammers. The joke has gone far enough bungie.

2 AntwortenI hate calling for nerfs, don't think I ever have on Destiny, but this is one instance where I cannot fathom how this super made it out of testing as it is. Most people lack common sense and think it's not fair but in all reality - this super is the most OP crap Bungie has let in the game. For all the reason mentioned: hammers track, splash damage is crazy, health regen which is essentially an over shield, the amount of hammers you can throw, and the duration. In most cases, a hunter golden gun will get 2 kills on average because there is no shield. A sniper to the face ends that super in its tracks. Blade dancer is more easily defended. I usually put shots on target, back up, then throwing knife or shotgun. Done. Tether is practically useless in PvP. Sure, I can one shot you if I hit you but if you're just tethered you can still fire back and kill me. Weird most people just give up when they are tethered. Warlock nova bomb is mostly like the Titan striker super, really only good for one kill most of the time, maybe 2 if you're lucky. The storm super from warlocks is actually pretty damn strong, as is the melee and it pisses me off just as much as hammers of sol but not as OP at all. There is absolutely ZERO defense that can be made to keep this super the way it is.

It's the proximity explosions that are annoying. They track you and have a 10m radius. Ugh :/

Bad enough a 'ground smash' can kill you at the peak of your jump, now HoS can kill you and not even come near. You know a game is broken when the designers and testers see 'no problem unless they complain'!

they just need to reduce the time the super is active from 12000 sec, to just no more than 15 sec. You get 3-4 kills by it and is on par with the other super killing spree. Stormtrance is the same, it last too long, but at least you can kill them easily :)

No need to limit the number of hammers, just a nerf on that damage reduction. They should be as easy to kill as stormcallers are given that their super does so much damage.

Why doesnt everyone just make a titan and have fun with it. If its as OP as you say then why are people still using hunters and warlocks? And im pretty sure if they buffed GG to one shot HoS's then you all would come back just to complain about it saying it needs a nerf

15 AntwortenMore stupidity... Bullshit it's 10m... stop being dramatic. A hammer is weaker and slower than a golden gun shot. Therefore they need MORE to be AS good. It's *possible* to throw 7 hammers in PvP but that's spamming, not aiming or moving which is fairly useless. Realistically it's 4-5 hammers that are actually aimed at targets, which is fine.

I main a hunter, but got my Titan up to rank 5 in IB by Friday night and my god is HoS broken. I almost doubled my Titan's KD in a matter of 4 days. It's just... stupid. To bring Golden Gun up to par with it, you would have to add 2 shots, double the duration, grant 55% damage reduction, have the bullets track and explode in a massive aoe, and regen your health after every kill. If someone suggested a super like that before HoS was released people would call them crazy. I can't honestly believe people are trying to defend it. Edit: Also, I can't even count the number of times I popped GG and wound up not even firing a round because i couldn't find a target in those 10.5 seconds. That has literally [i]never[/i] happened with HoS. 26 seconds is enough to traverse every single map in the game from one end to the other.

I die more often by visiting golden gun then by a hammer in the open u can easily dodge a hammer titan but not a golden gun.

1 AntwortenI normally I don't voice my opinion in these matters, but for this I will make an exception. Before I begin I will say I do main a Hunter. *cue the assault on thread. The fact that the titans can throw more than three hammers is crap. Hunters only have 3 Golden gun round or 3 Shadow shot rounds, that's it. This has to be addressed and fixed.

4 AntwortenI see it like this, Hammer of Sol is basically a rocket launcher that holds between 10-14 rounds. I think it should be like shadow shot and limited to 3 in PVP. Just my opinion.
