It is rare that any of the other supers kill more than 3 people ever so why do titans have massive radius damage and 6 or more hammers. The joke has gone far enough bungie.

1 AntwortenNova Bomb and FoH have much more of a blast radius. I have no problem with the hammers themselves. The problem with Sunbreakers is the combination of range, lethality, and damage resistance. In Iron Banner this week, I took on a Sunbreaker who decided to pop his super right after the heavy fell (stupid). Since I had heavy, I decided to stand my ground and fight him. He took TWO nearly point-blank rocket hits from Truth before he finally went down....and we STILL traded kills. Either the damage resistance needs to be dialed WAY back....or the number of hammers. Because that's ridiculous.

3 AntwortenIs this a satire post? If not your an idiot

A headshot and a body shot. All it takes to take that useless class down

9 AntwortenAll you guys need to understand that they don't only focus on PvP, you know how pointless it would be to use hammer if it only has 3 shots in PvE? Come on.

Bearbeitet von SoSorryUDie: 11/25/2015 2:52:58 AMHammers aren't getting nerfed. Plain and simple. Bungie would of nerfed them by now. The PvP numbers gathered by Destiny Tracker show that sunbreaker's subclass KD is in line with other subclasses and is still less than some subclasses (gunslinger and bladedancer specifically). It isn't overpowered and easy to counter. Salty hunters are just being salty...... EDIT - OP mains a hunter.......lol

17 Antworten"Its rare that any of the other supers get more than 3 kills" 1 Titan smashing the whole team 2 nova bomb hitting and chaining the explosion 3 blade dancer ripping everybody apart on a small map 4 golden gun chaining the explosion 5 warlock lightning killing the whole team isn't uncommon Stop being salty

3? I can get more kills with FoH. And that's saying something

9 AntwortenIf there is a flaming hammer coming right at you. Just move out of the way...

As a hunter you're exaggerating way too much, it's like two meters radius. And 3 of them is going to cripple them, these aren't golden guns. The accuracy of a sunbreaker vs the accuracy of a gunslinger are different toward the gunslinger because golden gun pressures you to not miss, hammer of sol doesn't and that results in many missed hammers.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von YATM: 11/25/2015 1:52:40 AMThe kill radius is about 3m, not 10. Not saying it doesn't need a nerf, but you re exaggerating. - A Sunbreaker

You must have skipped the lesson when they went over distances
-
The joke is all of the nerf this and nerf that posts and then when they get nerfed everyone complains again
-
No, if it was in need of a nerf, Bungie would have already done it. Sunbreakers are where they need to be. The era of hunters are over, let the new age begin.
-
I was hoping it would be a bladedancer style super

3 AntwortenTo me the question is not whether this super is OP or not, everybody knows the answer to that. Even if some people have grown too addicted to HoS to admit it. The real question is how this was allowed to happen in the first place? In a game when we have the sandbox dude regaling us every month with tales of how they added 0.5m range to this shotty and how they took of .2% damage to that gun and bla bla bla, how could anyone in their right mind could think for even one second that allowing HoS as it is today would be a good idea?! This super looks like it was designed as a birthday present for the lead designer's 8 y.o. nephew. It's so OP, it's moronic. Why was this allowed to happen? That's the question I would really like an answer to, not that I'm holding my breath or anything.

3 AntwortenI main a titan and don't won't hammers lowered, I want the damage reduction to be removed. It's insane a health regaining super can have that much health. Once that's brought in to line the hammers won't matter.
-
Where are you getting these numbers?
-
well your s scrub
-
10m doesn't sound too far for a super tbh, I'm sure I've been shotgunned from that distance in he past <wink wink>

if you're looking at the armour or amount of hammers as the problem you're looking in the wrong direction.(not entirely) The skill tree is what makes all this nonsense possible switch caturize and fleet fire and you completely throw off everyone who uses hos the health regeneration is what makes this is a bitch to kill it's not the armour is everything revolves around its super so if you switch the two perks you're making the decision harder. Too many good active nodes on the skill tree Melee creates sunspots= over shield when standing in sunspot it's probably the most aggressive and defensive super in the game, the hos subclass is built around its super every single perk is related to it some how or some way it's quite unbelievable how they did it honestly, really not a single perk expect caturize can be used with out your super. I agree a nerf is in order and an adjustment of location for skill tree nodes to make some decisions tougher. You change the entire dynamic switching those two perks.

hammers move slow and have a curve to their throw. If you just stay above their head you should be fine.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Vault of Glass: 11/23/2015 1:39:48 PMNo. We titans do not need less hammers. You need more skill. It really isn't that hard to dodge a sunbreaker. I mean really, all we are is just a bunch of big blundering walruses.

6 AntwortenI think you should actually get hit with the hammer to die. The blast radius is ridiculous.

2 AntwortenI hate calling for nerfs, don't think I ever have on Destiny, but this is one instance where I cannot fathom how this super made it out of testing as it is. Most people lack common sense and think it's not fair but in all reality - this super is the most OP crap Bungie has let in the game. For all the reason mentioned: hammers track, splash damage is crazy, health regen which is essentially an over shield, the amount of hammers you can throw, and the duration. In most cases, a hunter golden gun will get 2 kills on average because there is no shield. A sniper to the face ends that super in its tracks. Blade dancer is more easily defended. I usually put shots on target, back up, then throwing knife or shotgun. Done. Tether is practically useless in PvP. Sure, I can one shot you if I hit you but if you're just tethered you can still fire back and kill me. Weird most people just give up when they are tethered. Warlock nova bomb is mostly like the Titan striker super, really only good for one kill most of the time, maybe 2 if you're lucky. The storm super from warlocks is actually pretty damn strong, as is the melee and it pisses me off just as much as hammers of sol but not as OP at all. There is absolutely ZERO defense that can be made to keep this super the way it is.
