Which weapon meta would you prefer now?
To all you experienced players:
As we all know, weapons keep getting nerfed (aren't they always). One of those times are now. Now, I can barely distinguish what the meta is turning into with all these weapon changes. So, out of curiosity, out of all the metas (including this weird one we are in right now), which one would you prefer?
Shadow Price
LDR 500
The age of Vex Mythoclast?
The reign of SUROS?
MIDA MULTI TOOL
NLB?
The infamous Thorn/Last Word?
Thorn + Shotgun?
Last Word + Shotgun?
Shotgun? (Shotguns are everywhere)
Pulse Rifles (more recent)
Snipers (I don't know if these ever were a meta. I've just noticed a noticable rise in sniper users)
This weird jumbled up meta right now that no one understands?
If I missed one, comment it and I will add it to the list.
Keep in mind, this is about [i]weapon metas[/i]. Not supers. We always see complaints about supers, so please try to keep those off this forum post.

13 AntwortenHas someone recently redefined the meaning of the word "meta"? I keep seeing it used in a context that would imply it is being used to mean the equivalent of "era" perhaps? That is not what "meta" means - it usually means "self referential" or "a concept that is an abstraction of another concept".

Nerf conspiracy theory. At this point they should just be adjusting stats on individual weapons. Conspiracy theory is the most useful shotgun and shouldn't be this good in PvP. Its sold by the PvE vendor.

None Get people to keep changing instead of everyone cloning the same load outs Have a modifier each day for a different primary/ secondary class. Buff that class and debuff other classes People will have to change weapons every day Ok. On any given day, everyone will have similar load outs, but they will have to change for the next day and adapt strategies

The Age of the Vex and the MIDA. Those were good times. Although I don't think the Shadow Price and the LDR were in the same Meta. [spoiler]LDR is my baby[/spoiler]

Everyone loves MIDA just because it wasn't overused. Could you imagine all 6 players having that thing like Thorn? That would suck!

2 AntwortenAge of the mida. I remember that feeling in year 1 where I'd be in a 1 on 1 battle with another guardian moving life fire as the rounds of his mida clashed with mine. Both of us pushing and pushing to take the other down. One of the few times you can Truely feel skilled in the crucible is in that moment.
