Why?
Bungie doesn't like fun?
Bungie listens to forum dingleberries?
I'll save you some time, you'll need to nerf auto rifles after the new update goes through.
::EDIT:: Keep in mind that the chaperone is also a shotgun. Shotguns are getting a huge nerf in December on their range/fall off damage.
