Pulses and 1000yard lol
The balance on this game is hilarious. 1000 yard snipe is the new thorn in the crucible. Far/mid/close it guarantees a one shot kill. I read that the snipe itself has mediocre aim assist stats but damn i walk out boom headshot. I'm shotgun ranged from opponent boom headshot lmfao. Its hilarious due to the fact how can anyone aim and shoot to the head in a milli second if they aren't ADS as soon as corners are crossed. Pulses have ridiculous scout ranged shots especially nerwins mercy. I'm not crying nerf just other weapons need a buff.

I kill more with my trial's one than 1k Yard. 1 Headshot = 267 Damage = Kill 2 body shots = 107 Damage x2 = Guaranteed Kill AND it fires way too fast. 7 Antworten1000ys has something like 57% aim assist (62% with hidden hand) that's why a lot of people use it lol. Plus being a quest reward sniper. They need to reduce the aim assist on the snipers.

4 AntwortenI might be using it wrong but my 1000yd stare is not one shoting anyone lol. When I use it it is while they are running so they are almost always weak. That is the only one shot body shot that I can manage. Head shots are not as easy as the youtubers make it look and I have had maybe one good snipe today.

1 AntwortenNew thorn not. Doesn't have the same perks nor is it a hand cannon. One a sniper and sniper is guaranteed headshots. Also maybe read a glimpse of the patch notes.

2 AntwortenStillpiercer will always be my favorite sniper rifle, but it is banned from competitive play due to it being a class specific gun, can't help it man, got to use 1000 yard stare.

2 AntwortenAim assist on all snipers need 25% reduction, auto rifle dmg buffed 5% and hand cannon range before dmg drop-off raised 15%.

3 AntwortenThere are other good options when it comes to sniper rifles but 1000 yard stare is the easiest sniper to obtain with decent aa and impact. That's why you see so many people use it.

1 AntwortenThe only reason the 1000yrd stare is popular is because of th short gaze scope, no weopons need a buff to counter that.

4 Antwortenpulse rifles are good as is.. and there is plenty of snipers that have more AA then 1k stare. Note yes I have 1k stare and love it. No I dont play pvp. so not using it as a "Crutch" i took and leveled mine up to 320. and these nerfs... are gonna kill any inspiration I have left to play.

1 AntwortenThe average pulse rifle will do about 22 to 34 per bullet to the head. So one pulse is far more powerful than any scout rifle. Only way I have found to counter it with glee. Thorn.

8 AntwortenPulses won't beat a scout at distance. Anytime pantheon comes up nirwens is out and hung jury in. Snipers get screwed it groups sniping those corridors.
