Should throwing knife instant kill if to the head?
I deleted the body so I will do it again... Facepalm.
Ok so who thinks that throwing knife should be a full 200 damage if it is a headshot. I know with gamblers dagger and knife juggler it would be quite op, but what's the difference between snipers! But like cmon it a [b][i][u]FREAKING KNIFE[/u][/i][/b]
[Edit1]: For the people who are saying "It's a helmet what's a knife gonna do". Let's just say it's a really sharp knife.

I say no. It would be op. But it could be a perk for an exotic armor piece. Something like: Grants additional knife. Throwing a knife uses two charges but does more damage, enough for a 1S HS.

First of all i basically only use gunslinger in the crucible, but NO, it shouldnt be a one hit kill to the head considering the extremely huge aim assist and hitbox in destiny.

4 AntwortenLet's make a compromise. The further the knife goes to hit its target, the more damage it does. After all, if you get a throwing knife headshot across the map, you deserve that kill.

If you can get a head shot with a throwing knife it should be a 1-hit kill. That's my opinion as its not so easy at times and can leave you quite defenseless if you try at the wrong time.

4 AntwortenNot a single class outside of Hunters have a 1 hit kill melee. Hunters already have a glitchy backstab mechanic.. They don't need another.

I main a hunter and spend most of my time on gunslinger nowadays and use throwing knives proficiently and I say nah. It'd be a bit op lol it's way too easy to nab ohko's with them. They're meant as fight finishers, not starters and you should use them as such.

With the burn, it should kill in one shot.

If it is an instant headshot (and I love playing on my hunter) then the "aim" assist on the knife needs to go down. Because there have been times where I throw a knife and it is clearly going to go past someone's head and it kind of just gets magnetized toward their head....which isn't really a fair game mechanic if it is going to be an instant kill

Dude the knives have slight tracking and an AA of like 150 lol, I would have to say no.
