Example: I already got a raid helmet with 312 light. I complete the hard raid again tomorrow and I receive a new helmet. The new helmet will be guaranteed to be 313 light or higher.
Bungie your game is dying, and this simple solution would bring a lot of people back into the game. My clan ran 3-4 raids every week, but now i'm lucky if i run the 1st half of a raid before reset, because no one finds sense in doing a 2 hour raid and getting shit lower than what you already have. Fix this Bungie, please
Edit 6: Another great idea suggested by a couple of guardians (wording from icefalcon28 post , thanks):
"change the mouldering shards to be that you can infuse 20 shards into any gear and it would increase that items level by 1 or 2 points. That way even if you get crappy drops the shards would still help you progress. The current use of the shards is awful. Keep the amount of shards high so it takes 1 1/2 raids or 2 raids to be able to do it but at least then it gives people some sense that they actually will progress".
Edit 5: Some guardians think that I'm asking for handouts. These suggestions are NOT the same as asking for handouts; RNG would still determine if you get a drop or not, so you won't be handed anything, RNG will still decide if you are "worthy" of the drop.
Edit 4: We are officially trending! Let's hope Cozmo is around somewhere......
Edit 3: another great idea by mtsagaris1999, thanks:
"I would actually like to see moldering shards get a buff, like pump 20 of them into a piece of gear to raise its light by five, super simple fix, wont require much in the way of changes, and gives every drop the potential to be useful. (Have 5-6 shards drop from every dismantled raid legendary"
Edit 2: this is another great suggestion posted by Hexblitz (thanks!):
"Normal mode should always drop 310, hard always 320.
Keep infusion for other armor sets, trials, IB and vendor gear for example.
Atleast then the replay of the raid would be worth it once fully geared".
Edit 1: Thank you all for your feedback. Although some disagree, it seems that most guardians would like drops that are either equal or higher in light of what you already acquired in the raid, which sounds good also. Let's trend to see if this reaches one of Bungies meetings!

2 AntwortenAt 294, I received a 309 ghost shell. Read about the 'rich rewards' everyone else is getting and took a pass. Xur is more rewarding: he disappoints 99.9% of the time, so I am always reassured by him. I can absolutely guarantee that I am always disappointed in RNG, and RNG cannot ever fail me there! I hope Bungie never fixes RNG because I rely 99.9% on its regular and predictable disappointment.

Worse loot is for upgrading other guns. The problem is that loot and materials are so restrictive that you instead are chasing better gear. It is a failure of stinginess than conception.

4 AntwortenI've never seen a loot based game that guaranteed your drops would always be better than your current gear. I don't see that happening here either.

5 AntwortenDestiny is not dying. I don't know why you think the biggest game on console right now is "dying" just because some people are ALSO enjoying other new games. And no, your idea is stupid. You'd be max level in only a couple weeks and then you'd be on here complaining that there's nothing left to do.
