You can get anything the game offers without paying a single penny. Back when I played it, I eventually ponied up $20 for some storage slots and extras, more because the developers earned the money from me. Destiny is a bit more polished than Warframe, but Warframe offers ALOT of things Destiny seriously needs. Warframe takess FULL advantage of your PS4 controller. Not only can you map every button do something you want, the center touchpad is used. Four directional swipes and one more big button. The Codex is similar to Grimoire. Guess what. It is available IN Game! There is IN Game methods for LFG. Your actions can have consequences. Having the Stalker or G3 appear and interrupt your activities at the oddest times is great. Balance of power shifts in different territories. Your actions can even help this happen.

Being able to eventually get those items doesn't negate the fact that it's pay to win. Pay to win means they get those items a fast and easy and gain a huge advantage.
-
You can pay to get such items faster, but it doesn't gain you an advantage. All gear has to be leveled up (multiple times in some cases) to make it viable. There are no Gjallerhorns in Warframe.
-
It is semantics and I disagree with that term. Pay to Win means the most powerful gear is only obtainable via buying it in a free to play game. As I said, it's semantics. Sadly, I can see Bungie eventually going down this road, buy the game, pay for expansion, and if you want the really good weapons, pony up more $$$.
-
No its not. There is nothing you can buy that you can't get from other means. In fact, there are more items that must be obtained by other means and can not be bought. All the premium currency is used for is to get around time walls. If you played for more than 5 minutes, you would know.
-
Yes. Grind for months on end. Or pay $5. Pay To Win
-
Pay to win is getting stuff and gear that is superior to anything else and can not be obtained by other means. Avoiding time walls is NOT pay to win.
-
You are retarded, that's exactly what pay to win is
-
Pay to win actually is a valid explanation in paying to bypass the time walls.... That's almost the definition of pay to win....
-
Yes. Yes it is.
-
How? All the premium currency is used for is avoiding time walls. So simply having an item sooner before another player is pay to win? Ok. Then Destiny is also pay to win, there were many players before me who had a Ghorn. It is not pay to win.
-
Bruh destiny isn't pay to win because no one paid for Gjallarhorn bud
-
If you don't pay for DLCs in Destiny, you're locked out of content you've already paid for. Its essentially pay-to-win from that perspective.
-
Neither is Warframe. Just used it As a comparison. You just pay to circumnavigate time walls. Which in no way gives you an advantage over another player. Ergo not pay to win.
-
You're skipping the whole part where you play the -blam!-ing game dolt
-
Still doesnt make it pay to play.
-
No, its pay to win Buy the game only. And you're at a severe disadvantage to anyone who wants to spend money on it. -blam!-ing the majority of gamers for you lazy shits. Pay to Win. But I just won, and I'm not paying shit. Get out of my house -blam!-ing moron kid.
