Feedback on Raid rewards
Many of you have expressed feedback on the current state of Raid rewards in [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/173128942/0/0]this thread[/url]. Also [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/173274395/0/0]here[/url], and even [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/173056904/0/0]here[/url], among other places. Rather than go and response to every post I am going to address them all in this post. We are listening to all of your feedback and ideas on how to improve rewards for completing one of Destiny's greatest challenges. I have made sure these posts have made it to the right people. I'm also adding "Improvement to Raid rewards" to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/140885111/0/0]#CommunityWishList[/url], but don't have any immediate changes to announce right now. Please continue to post your thoughts and ideas on how to better improve rewards, and everything else you would like to see changed.

I want you all to know I enjoy playing Destiny until it comes time to do the raid and I go through the whole thing for one shitty drop. You guys are upsetting the players by not fixing this some how. You can either choose to fix it or you can lose myself and many others as players. We do the raid because it's hard work and we are suppose to get great reward for it. You have no idea how many times I've done it and felt totally ripped off. Fix it or I will quit playing your game and I won't buy Destiny 2. Hope you guys really read this stuff...

I feel more like a slave than a guardian. with all these stupid quest those lazy fuks at the tower can't do and do all that work and get only experience and shi tty weapons that are useless and also I want to point out that all the old raids too, useless just like everyone at bungie.

How am I supposed to collect two more fragments I've already earned to get my rewards for getting all 50 calcifieds? I wasn't looking for 320 gear or whatever just something remotely worth my while. My reward ends up being a package that contains an emote from fall 2015. If I wanted any specific emote that time I would've bought it don't you think? A reward like that is just spitting in the face of a player. I'm not looking for something I can convey to players around me, in the form of a badly structured emote. Just give me something usable in the game. I would've been happy with 20 coins or motes or whatever. But this? This is just killing a player's reasons to keep playing. This needs to be removed from the game as a possible reward. Much like the warpriest challenge it's just pathetic. Edit// To add insult to injury. Once I open it to see what my emote turns out to be, there is only silence. Nothing at all. Wow bungie, I been a fan of the game since the beta. But give a little more back to the fans please. And buy f-ing activision out of their end of the contract for Christ sake. You sold your soul, but you can buy it back.

2 AntwortenWhy are all of you being cry babies. Spoiled, entitled, stupid children. This game is solely based around loot. You want bungie to just hand you the best gear? What will you do then? Do you not enjoy playing? The thrill of identifying an item. This game is not about Handing you what you want it's about earning it. Yes they have put out some crappy content taken King has finally done it right. The loot system is right the light level is good and the fact that your gear can drop at different light levels is amazing. When you get a 320 it actually means something and it feels good. I think personally challenge mode has made it too easy but it's out there for people that don't get to play as often. You get a 320 every time. You have no excuse crying about any of it. I work 12 hours a day and play 2 days a week. My lowest light level is 314 I play 3 guardians. Stop crying. Play the game. Or don't. You won't be missed. To be honest you're probably not even wanted. Your friends hate playing with you because you cry every time a boss drops some gear. Be happy the devs are even listening to you and trying to balance and enhance the fun-ness of this game. Thanks for trying devs. First 2 dlcs sucked tho. P.S. make the atheon and crota raid 300-310 I miss playing them. They were so fun. P.P.S cry babies suck

I can get that people can get frustrated with the inconsistent (or non-existent) raid rewards (lower light level duplicate drops qualify as non-existent) but the level of rage and hatred coming from some of the people in this thread blows my mind. I feel the challenge mode has made the rewards a lot better and, although not entirely raid related, I'm looking forward to getting some of the great drops from SRL after hitting rank 3. If SRL can give out 320 drops for infusion then I am happy with that balancing out some of the inconsistency.

Make the Exotic drop system more reminiscent of Year 1 where it's more than 1 in 20 raids you get something

Hey Cozmo! I got a little bit of feedback from other players but earlier today (about an hour after reset) my team and I completed Hard Oryx Challenge and we didn't receive rewards! We are pretty sure we had done this right but here is a link to my forum and in there has a link to the video proof of completion! Cozmo, I believe the best way to fix the raid drops is to set up the drops the same way you do the challenge. Guaranteed drops. I beleive at this point most guardians have their favorite armor/weapon so just guarantee a drop with high light that can be infused. The vendors sell armor/weapons but they need to rotate their stock including perks every weekly reset. If you do this gaurdians can buy the armor/weapon of choice at 280 light and the gaureented raid drops 300-320 will infuse their favorite armor/weapon.

So hard mode Totems + Warpriest completed but the rewards were 4 moldering shards and a normal mode fusion rifle. At this point there's little point improving the rewards as no-one really cares anymore especially as 'challenge' mode is handing out 320 gear.

4 AntwortenI think moldering shards should be a form of currency. After you have collected said amount you can go to eris morn and buy the 320 gauntlets or whatever that never drop for you. Have one currency for hard and one for normal mode. 2 normal =1 hard. If something like this was implemented then I think the drops are fine how they are. I also think challenge mode is a great feature and hope it stays for later raids. Guaranteed 320 drops but not an instant 320 character after beating it. It helped a lot of people cross the 315-317 gap. Another idea is maybe make 5 moldering shard be able to raise the attack or defense of any item by 1 point.
