So. You nerfed Gjallahorn because players forced each other to have it or they weren't taken into the raid.
BUT: With the Touch of Malace you created just the same shit.
I have that gun. and i have been in partys where the low-level players were kicked because they didn't have that weapon.
WHAT THE -blam!-?! You need to complete the raid to get this weapon.
This is just the same -blam!-ery as with the Gjallarhorn.
just more brutal because Gjally was completely random.
And you NEED to do the raid...
Why do some players act so dumb?!
Why does nobody play nice and help these players that just don't have that gun...
Community -blam!-s me up sometimes.
[Edit:]
Apparently some people don't get what i was trying to say...
It's not that i don't have the gun or spell it wrong [Blame me for being german not knowing what every weapon is called in an different language.. *facepalm*]
It's the way players handle that thing. This is what pisses me off!
---------
Guys.... please read carefully before you comment. 90% of the comments didn't get what i was trying to say.
I have that stupid gun. (Malice. Grammarnazis.)
I'm just pissed at players that feel like bosses and kick the low-level players out of the raid for not having the gun.
Now think of that: you NEED to finish the raid to obtain the gun.
but how should someone get this thing if they get kicked everytime?
i helped a guy who told me that he had been kicked out of 20 teams before for not having that gun.
It isn't the gun that is the problem.
It's the way some players handle this thing.
I'm not saying they should remove it...
but they should do something about it.
[-blam!- off 'Touch of Malace' - i'm german so don't blame me for spelling ONE LETTER wrong ... can't know what every weapon is called in an different language.]

Bearbeitet von Pure: 11/14/2015 4:58:18 PMFunny, the hard raid is ridiculously easy for me and I never really felt the need to go get the malice. I'm sitting on over a dozen completions and 36 fragments, yet I always seem to out Dps the blessings + malice losers from lfg. Looks like I don't qualify for half the lfg teams out there, but for damn sure they're missing out on a quality raider. It's a good gun don't get me wrong, but no. I, nor my raid group have ever struggled at all not using it.

3 AntwortenEveryone should have ToM lower light players are just lazy & don't wanna grind to get it but expect to get all loot from hard raid find the fragments it's not that hard really
-
The thing is, its not just the weapon. People also kick people for not being over 300 light, or have the emblem. If its not one thing, its tao other things.
-
Pls nerf Toch of malace thxs bungievision -OP
-
last tym im with a fireteam and im running my titan and NO ToM they all knew it will be hard time finishing oryx on HM. so i really guess ToM on hard is really a requirement. and the way you saying it u wer just on a bad team doing normal and asking for ToM,again on NORMAL. i can use blue/rare guns running the normal mode. just a bad team u just get onto.

5 AntwortenWith the amount of time that HM requires to clear, especially for those of us who did it week one, there is really no excuse for it not to be a HM requirement. It took far less time to collect those fragments than it did to clear HM, and NM does not require it. Gally requirements were fundamentally worse: it was based entirely on RNG, not skill or commitment.

First, to address your click bait title, weapons or content shouldn't be removed. Second, addressing your comparison to Gjallarhorn, Gjallarhorn was a catch all for any boss encounter that dropped randomly while Touch of Malice is a weapon that is earned be finding numerous calcified fragments and completing the questline. Touch of malice also primarily excels in the later part of the Kings fall raid, and no where else. At least the Touch of Malice isn't restricted by the constraints of RNG, which is always worse. Third, addressing your comments on elitism in Destiny. If a player was kicked from normal Oryx for not having Touch of Malice, than the player that kicked him/her was an elitist that needs to exclude others to make themselves feel better about their personal inadequacies. If they kicked the player from hard oryx, there is an argument to be made in favor of the kicker because of the Higher level enemies & expectation of experience. Look, I get what you're saying with regards to jerky players that kick others because they don't have a certain weapon, the best way to avoid that is to form your own group since you have the control of who gets kicked. What I disagree with is calling for the removal of a weapon just because of elitism. Its an immature approach that would cause more technical/community problems and wouldn't solve your bad experiences with LFG. All you have to do is avoid the elitists, which is pretty easy when you read their requirements for a group.
-
Few are going to take you seriously with that attitude and a clickbait title.
-
Don't listen to this ignorant post.
-
The G-Horn was completely rng... Absolutely no excuse not to have ToM, no RNG, just takes time and effort.
-
How is it bungies fault the way the community conducts itself? So everyone should suffer because of some douches on lfg? Naah.
-
If it's hard mode, yea I believe malice can be required cause you can do normal to get it. But normal mode, who cares easy enough
-
1 AntwortenAnd so it begins!!!!!!
-
My game is glitchy AF these days, the mission won't even drop for me. So many other problems right now, ToM is the least of the problems
-
5 AntwortenIf you don't have ToM by now you're a Scrub ass little bad kid that I don't want to play with. There is no reason for anyone not to have it. NO REASON!!!
-
It should be required for hard raid. If you dont have it yet its because of poor management of your time on destiny or just pure laziness. It shouldnt be required for normal raid though.
-
I work 40hrs a week and spend allot of time with me wife and kids, and I own the touch of Malice. It's not hard to earn just work for it
-
Good luck buddy.... I only join groups with malice and emblem requirements. I don't have time during the week to spend 3 hours doing a 1 hour raid. I help people on the weekend run normal but hard is another story. You have to be on point so you don't waste peoples time.
-
Just get it bro

2 AntwortenWhat you're asking is irrelevant. Gjallarhorn and "Malace" are completely different situations. One thing is for sure. If people don't have Malace, they either have a life or suck real bad at this game. They have no excuse other than having a life to not get that weapon. Another point that many have mentioned, if anyone encounters a group that requires Malace for normal mode Raid...please do yourself a favor and get the fūck out of that trash group. There are plenty of decent groups that do shit for fun. Normal mode doesn't need Malace to complete so again, the Malace quest is easily obtainable since you only need to complete normal mode once. You're wrong on trying to nerf a gun that is hardly overpowered since it's true meaning comes into play during the last two stages of Hard mode. For everything else Malace is not that good. Sorry but I guarantee you Malace won't get nerfed...
-
It's fair for it to be required for hard mode but not for normal
-
honestly getting it is piss easy, 1 normal completion and 2hours orso to farm all the fragments and do the quest missions, 7 weeks after the release of normal mode should be plenty of time for any casual to get it even if they only play 30 mins a day. that being said you failed to mention wether we're talking about normal or hard mode, normal should be easy without it as we all had to beat normal without it, second, get some -blam!-ing friends and stop relying on LFG kids that kick you in the first place, friends are far less likely to kick you for not having ToM as you're not another random to them. hard mode well its not really required but it just shows how lazy you are for not having it at that point. hardmode has more reasons to get kicked
-
There is no touch of malace.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von DudeNamedJoe420: 11/14/2015 3:45:10 PMJust like g horn, you do not NEED it, but it does make it easier. UNLIKE ghorn, you can earn it thru questing. So if you're not lazy you should have it. At this point there s no reason not to have 1.
