Crucible has become a snipe fest
That's it, that's all......hard scoping a corner is Destiny pvp. I never see primaries used anymore, just that red glint beyond the corner.
edit: this is not a nerf sniper rifle post, I'm concerned with special weapons in general. Special ammo needs to be reduced some how.....I feel special weapons are a crutch. I want to see more primary weapon usage so we can see who's truly the better player.

how about go play inferno then? it has very limited special ammo. And as for it just being snipers out there, there are plenty of shotguns still running abouts but the lack of fusion rifle power or good sidearms really has hindered their use in pvp.

5 AntwortenPeople act like it is so hard to counter snipers.... There is one a simple solution; don't be stupid! Don't just walk around a corner that you know has long lines of site. Instead jump around the corner or crouch or run. Anything to keep a sniper guessing. And constantly change up which one you do so they can't guess at what level you will enter the room next. And for crying out loud if you get sniped somewhere don't just walk back to where you got sniped and get sniped again! That's just idiotic! People need to use their brain. What happens if you are caught out in the open with no cover you ask? Just shoot them with something that can hit them from a range to knock off their aim! It's really easy to do and it makes hitting a headshot damn near impossible when you are flinching. Basically the point of me replying is to say that snipers are very easily countered. The reason shotguns AND blink got nerfed was because it was an epidemic in the crucible and on CQC maps (like most maps are in destiny) people could just go crazy with shotgun kills because it is very difficult to counter.

You know there used to be much more special ammo right? & if you & an enemy were both near heavy when it got picked up, you both would get it. & if you killed someone who had heavy, they dropped heavy for you. I'd rather have this shotgun, shotgun, occasional sniper situation we have now than the everyone sit in the corner with a shotgun we had before.

I think special ammo should be automatically put into your reserves. Say 6 rounds every 5 minutes. That way you won't have people scavenging for all the special on the map before they start there invective kill spree. It would promote real fire fights also it would teach you to use your secondary when you really need it.

So let me get this straight... special ruins crucible because its diverse and powerful with its three categories however primaries (potentially 7 categories including exotics) arent over powered... guns like hawkmoon or mida dominated crucible for the longest time, guns like lastword beating shotguns often in close encounters, pulse and scouts easily staggering and killing snipers. Handcannons two to three shoting and close medium and long ranges depending on type as well as universal removing all need for a special shotgun while still being top teir sure less special in trials means less shotgun and sniper but i have no issue wrecking snipers with smite of merian... with some improvement maybe you'll realize in time that specials dont make a big enough difference in pvp if you know what you're doing i wish you luck and i hope only that you get better at pvp so i dont see any more complaint posts from you ^.^ good luck!

I wish people in this thread would do some research about 'aim assist' before talking out their ass. They'd have you believe that 'aim assist' lines up perfect head shots every single time and all you have to do is pull the trigger, that's not even close to how it works so please stop being idiots. The 'aim assist' on sniper rifles has been pretty consistent since day one, in fact it's lower for the most part compared to HoW sniper rifles. The fact that people are moving away from shotguns (which is a GREAT thing) means they're using a different type of special weapon. I'm all for diversity and just because people haven't adjusted their playstyle in response to more sniper rifles being used [b]does not[/b] mean they need a nerf or anything needs to change with them. What needs to change is how you play PvP and improving your situational awareness outside of shotgun range. I'm not that great at PvP but I absolutely do not see this huge proliferation of sniper rifles and I've been playing a lot of PvP trying to get the Chaperone and my exotic class item. And for you camping shotgunners every time you get killed by a sniper that you didn't see I hope you'll start to understand what it feels like getting killed by some of you scrubs camping that corner with a shotgun while invisible just waiting for someone to walk past. [spoiler]This is my opinion and is no way directed at everyone. However, if you feel like it's directed at you, it probably is.[/spoiler]

I could be hitting some guy with headshots with my tlaloc and he'll still pop my head off (and no I'm not standing still) or most of the time it isn't even had shots. Most of the time it's 2 bullshit body shots. How cowardly. Yes I use a shotgun and I do get some lame kills sometimes but 80% of the time I have my primary out

2 AntwortenI say lower the times a bit and also have it so you cant spawn with secondary. That way theres no snipes right off the bat from someone camping a hallway
