"Don't use Touch of malice, use a sniper!!"
Can people (mainly from LFG) stop demanding that snipers are the only viable option for Warpriest!!!
I have some good snipers and could use them if I wished, but I don't, why because TOM is far better! You just have to know how to use it.
The other night I was with an awesome team from LFG, we all had TOM, dropped a blessing and weapons each time and Melted the Warpriest in two rounds.
Even if everyone doesn't run with the touch and chooses to use Spindle/1000 yd etc, the touch is still a very credible option.
Maybe it's because people are just used to just holding the trigger down on daughters/Oryx and haven't practiced "getting good" in other encounters?
What's everyone else's thoughts on the Touch of Malices use, in encounters other than the end of Kings Fall?

Warpriest was 3 manned with 2 runs using snipers. And was one phased by a 6 person team with snipers.

Tether with weapons of light and my 316 black spindle while having a piece of armor that allows me to carry more sniper ammo says you wrong boy!

But the main thing here is dps. But if your spindle out damages ToM, why don't you use it against the daughters too? I know its harder to land all headshots on them, but even if you did, ToM would've done more damage anyway. Same thing with warpriest. And any skilled player can use a blessing bubble efficiently and take no damage as if they were in the aura. And you shouldn't take into account player error when talking about a weapon's potential. If you're all landing consistent headshots with ToM on warpriest then he will continuously get stumbled too.

2 AntwortenSnipers work just fine. I get the War Priest (on hard) to like 10-15% health after the first wave. Second wave is always a quick and easy finish. Why use ToM unless you're gonna kill him in the first wave? If it doesn't kill in the first wave then it's not really doing much more than what the sniper already does.

3 AntwortenThe sleeper stimulant is also a good choice. Problem is, just like year one, people have found a strategy they like and stick with it. They even require it just like gjelly from year one. Has anyone even tried a fusion rifle on the warpriest or golgoroth to see if it can work.

It's ok to use other things as some exotics are better than most snipers, but NOTHING beats black spindle when it comes to the warpriest or golgoroth as long as every precision shot lands (which is made easy by perfect balance).

If it took two rounds to melt him with ToM with blessings/weapons something is wrong then... Generally takes my group two rounds without that to melt him with spindles

Old news... People just can't fathom that the ToM with blessings will outdps any spindle when both are properly used.

3 AntwortenMaybe it's my team, but the Warpriest Damage is always higher for those who use the Spindle on my team whenever we have to wipe. ToM just isn't that good for it. Not terrible, and I won't kick you for it, but Black Spindle does superior DPS, in my experience.

You can do war priest with sniper in 2 rounds too with the bubble strat, and it's safer. ToM is great for witches and Oryx himself though.

Spindle is the best for damage, it's safer and blablabla.
