Can people (mainly from LFG) stop demanding that snipers are the only viable option for Warpriest!!!
I have some good snipers and could use them if I wished, but I don't, why because TOM is far better! You just have to know how to use it.
The other night I was with an awesome team from LFG, we all had TOM, dropped a blessing and weapons each time and Melted the Warpriest in two rounds.
Even if everyone doesn't run with the touch and chooses to use Spindle/1000 yd etc, the touch is still a very credible option.
Maybe it's because people are just used to just holding the trigger down on daughters/Oryx and haven't practiced "getting good" in other encounters?
What's everyone else's thoughts on the Touch of Malices use, in encounters other than the end of Kings Fall?

It's literally been proven that ToM does less DPS. You're trying to fight facts to say you're not just being a troublesome idiot.
-
I started using ToM for a lot of things, as i main a titan and usually have some blessing or force barrier available. Once you get the hang of it and can compensate for ToM's life draining drawback, it pretty much shreds anything. I think the biggest poblem using it during warpriest while others dont, is mobility. With ToM you need to step in and out of the bubble regularly. If everyone around you is hardscoping and heavily focused to get that spindle crit streak, they will have trouble with you moving about so much, getting in front of target, pushing others etc. This problem doesnt exist when everyone is doing ToM (a few missed ToM hits is hardly a problem). Its kinda the same discussion as using ghorn or snipers on atheon. As long as everyone uses the same weapon, no problem, but if you do it mixed, the snipers are getting screwed (wolfpacks make him walk and turn too much). If thats not the problem (stand in corner of group, make sure you never push or obscure anyone), you could easily disprove their point as soon as it turns into a wipe, just look at the damage dealt. You are saying you are performing better than using sniper, well, thats easy to show and prove, right?

We always get him to around 25-30% health on the first go.. Thats without weapons and just using the badass black spindle
-
i Always kill him in 2 rounds git gud

2 AntwortenThe whole point of using a sniper on warpriest HM is for the impact to stagger him to stop him killing your team. Arguing against this as if DPS is all that matters on the encounter is pretty stupid.
-
ToM isnt usefull unless you have blessing and weapons with a sniper is better
-
Staggering him in hard mode prevents a wipe. Touch of Malice does a lot of damage but that damage means nothing if the branded person + everyone else gets boomed because of lack of stagger.
-
I understand that Touch of Malice is good for DPS but high impact snipers aren't for high dps only, they're for staggering him so he doesn't keep shooting you and your group. I'd use the Touch but if you can keep making him stagger then all you have to deal with are simple Acolytes.

Black Spindel

2 AntwortenMy team always down it within 2 rounds.. And none of us are using ToM..
-
A good team can always down him in two rounds duh.
-
1 AntwortenToM + blessing + weapons + tether = kill everything in an instant
-
I treasure every fight were I don't have to use the stupid touch of malice. I'm getting sick of "having" to use it. Yes i know you can do all oryx encounters without it. But the raid is getting ffing boring and i just want to get it over with.
-
I use a spindle there, but malice with blessings is also excellent. Weve beaten the sisters using blessings when our runner made a booboo and couldn't get to our platform.
-
I just prefer something that isn't trying to kill me. Also its pretty standard for my LFG teams to down him in 2.
-
Use what you use. Who cares what other people are using? He's dead isn't he?
-
Had a team with all black spindles and melted him in one go almost. Had about 10% left after first dps phase.
-
With just a few spindles in the group we get him to 1/5 health first round always
-
You can melt Warpriest in 1 round with Spindles, so yeah shut up!
-
There are a lot of people afraid to use a ToM without some kind of buff. This is why they stay away from it. When the adds come out you see them frantically jumping and not dpsing because they don't know how to mitigate damage, avoid damage, and not reload it at the same time.

Bearbeitet von ReverseFlash: 11/11/2015 7:09:32 AMWe melt the Warpriest in 2 rounds with snipers.. So basically you're just wasting a bubble..

3 AntwortenThis is what people without a black spindle say, lol Go ahead and check his profile I'll wait... Once you get a black spindle you will change your mind #blackspindleisnot4scrubs
-
13 AntwortenDon't play with scrubs that insist on dropping every boss in 1-2 rounds. So it takes 3 rounds... loot doesn't get better for dropping them faster. Why not try whatever you want and see how it does? All of the raid elitists didn't have all of the gear to start with... they did it the hard way and others struggled with them. It's funny how getting gear turns people into elitist jerks. They forget the people that helped them out. Worthless scrubs.

lol, with snipers you can take her down on the 1st rotation at this point

No time to explain is my go to
