Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time had a larger open world than destiny
This game came out over a decade ago. And it had a larger and more interesting open world.
It had actual secrets. Not crap that was time gated and not the Bullshit carrot that Bungivsion holds In front of our noses.
Just thought I should put that out there.

I dont know... Destiny seems alot bigger. try just WALKING around each planet, dont sparrow! you'll get a better feel for how big it really is.go for a lap around the cosmodrome, passing through the skywatch, all on foot, and then tell me its tiny. try walking taking a lap around the surface, and then through the tunnels of Luna, and tell me its tiny (ok, that one is definately the smallest, but still). try walking around venus, from the endless steps all the way to the Ishtar academy, and then tell me its tiny. try walking around the dunes of mars, hugging either the left or right wall (to go around the entirety of the map with only the slightest of re-treading) and tell me it is small. and we can only walk the dreadnaught so that one is easier to tell. we've all walked around Hyrule and its neighboring provinces before, but we've never really WALKED the surface of the planets, now have we? that sparrow spoils our sense of scale.

More complicated doesn't equal better. I can also see how old some of the people are and whether or not they are even old enough to have played older games with more complicated maps. Going back and playing it out of context where things that were busted stayed busted, and very few people had personal computers in 1993 so the likelihood of a large number of the people with this opinion being around is low to even have a strong base for comparison. Just enjoy life and quit bitching so much, kids.
