Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time had a larger open world than destiny
This game came out over a decade ago. And it had a larger and more interesting open world.
It had actual secrets. Not crap that was time gated and not the Bullshit carrot that Bungivsion holds In front of our noses.
Just thought I should put that out there.

I remember falling in love with that game when I was in one of the first rooms with my duku stick like how the fck do I get out and I just had an idea to use the torch in the corner and light it on fire and light another torch to open the door. My friend and I went crazy with joy after we had sat there for an hour. That was my first real open world experience.. Simple but that little thing got me hooked

10 AntwortenI will admit. The dreadnaught is a big improvement to patrols. I think the problem is that those secrets are shared amongst the community, so some personal experience might be lost compared to Legend of Zelda: OaT where there was barley an Internet or forums

5 Antwortendestiny is only popular right now cause of lack of games on xbox one. Its changing.. in 5 years time. destiny will be a ps5 exclusive. Red dead redemption 2 will be out by then.. You think any xbox users are going to give a shit about destiny and the same 4 planets, going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth again? We'll actually have a game with dedicated servers and ping times that actually matter. remember playing quake 4 arena on a pc that was 280mhz with 212 megs of ram on a 128k landline? that shit played better then destiny's pvp.
