The point they're trying to make is that most people can and do experience attraction to the same sex, but the majority reject it because it's still socially "weird" to have gay tendencies. I've noticed that women are definitely more open to it. Many more women claim to be bisexual or pansexual than men. Also women are generally more comfortable being naked around each other, or even kissing for the fun of it, while a lot of men cringe and say "no homo" if they even brush shoulders, or at the mere sight of another man's dick. This is because gayness for men is (falsely) associated with femininity and men are so incredibly terrified of being feminine because they (falsely) perceive it as weak, whereas women being gay is more commonly (falsely) associated with masculinity, which is praised in our culture. It's more socially acceptable to be a gay woman than a gay man. I can't tell you how many men have told me that lesbians are hot but gay men are gross. Part of that is hyper-sexualization of women, but it's also that the male ego is so incredibly fūcking fragile that men are absolutely terrified of showing even the slightest sign of gayness. They've actually done brain scans that have found that the most homophobic men are sexually aroused by gay porn. Homophobia is generally an insecurity about one's own homosexual urges. TL;DR Sexuality is a spectrum, and most people are at least a little bit gay, but the majority are in denial because homosexuality is still shamed in our culture.

People will not under stand what you are doing but at least you are doing some thing If you put plastic eyeballs on a cabbage and take him to the movies it might feel like you have a friend I hate my life Dr. Suess did not ever make a poem about cababge And now he is dead A cabbage can not get pregnant believe me I tried You can put a cabbage in a baby carriage amd take him for a walk and people will say "who this" and you can say "he is my cabbaby" If you want to trick your parents put a cabbage on your pillow at night and they will think you are sleeping but you are actually crying

4 AntwortenFrom a physiological standpoint, this makes sense, in a way. Hormonally, males are predisposed towards conflict, competition and the like. To them, another male that could be perceived as "attractive" is a threat to the possibility of them breeding, and mentally is treated as such. For females, the hormones are generally more about social behaviors, bonding and the like, so the brain is much more inclined to see an attractive female, and find that appealing.
