Didn't you "xurn" the 3oC you used to get it? Lol
Edit: wow over 300 posts! My intent in this post wasn't to argue about "xurning" vs "earning". I just find it amusing that people feel that they earned anything because of RNGesus... I do agree with those who say the only items "earned" are the ones attained from grinding them (ToM, SS, any of the gunsmith class weapons)

ohgod... not this crap again. we had enough "Xurners and Earners" in Year1

whatever, either way, we aren't earning s**t. Most of my SC now have come from just doing the TTK missions and getting engrams turning into SC. You either grind strikes and nightfalls to get exotics, or you do stuff to get SC and buy what Xur sells or 3oC. It's all one big RNG gamble either way. No one is earning anything in this game. Even ToM is just one long grind. People need to get over themselves. There is luck in RNG and luck in whatever Xur is selling and having enough SC to buy it. Trying to do TTK again with my hunter and level him for King's Fall, but finding a complete lack of motivation to do so. Everything is just one long grind.

4 AntwortenThere is no earning any weapon in this game. Anybody that spouts nonsense about earning this or that in this game is dumb. Most probably didn't even earn the $ to buy it.

No one really earned the zhalo, or any of the other random drop gear. The only things that you can really say you earned are stuff from quest rewards, everything else is just randomly bestowed upon you in one way or another

It's an arc primary, that's the only remarkable thing about it. Still, it's one I didn't have. Glad Xur sold it

True, but then again, with strange coins now just being only random drops, there really isn't a method of getting (notice I didn't say EARNING) exotic gear that doesn't involve RNG.

But its so much nicer seeing a 310 one pop up at the cryptarch instead of walking away with that sad excuse of a 280
