PVP 1000 Yard Stare
So I've been searching for that one sniper that can become my new pvp main.
The one I've been using:
Shortgaze
Life support
Skip rounds
Hot swap
The one I just got:
Ambush
Grenadier
AP rounds
Spray and play
What do you guys think of the one I just got? It's not perfect but it's my first one with ambush. I think it's worth leveling up but I wanted some different opinions. I usually use shortgaze with snapshot but I think ambush is just as good as that combo.
Also, let me know what you all have! I've been seeing quite a few good roles on these snipers.

Bearbeitet von An Actual Noob: 10/30/2015 2:13:13 AMleveling up weapons is no longer an issue, special tele and give or take 15 motes will get it maxed, that being said theyre both good, just use wichever you like best but id recommend keeping both around. mine are the one from the story, last resort, shortgaze and firefly 2nd one has ambush/shortgaze, eye of the storm and outlaw

I've got two different ones I switch between. Longview Guerrilla fighter Hand laid stock Unflinching Stability almost maxed. Longview Snapshot Hidden hand Returns portion of mag after assist. Oddly the first is my favorite. Neither rolled shortgaze, but Longview scope feels better to me in year 2. Head shots all day.

I prefer short gaze when I do snipe personally. The other perks I'm not too set on.

1 AntwortenI don't know if I like the 1000 yard stare as much as the defiance of yasmin, but I might have to use 1000 yard for trials so I can one shot [i]*most*[/i] supers.

1 AntwortenI'd use the ambush one. Also, in case you didn't know, snipers with armor piercing rounds can shoot through walls. Pair that with Nightstalker tracking/marking.

Short gaze is much better, as it buffs those stats Edit: this post is only hard numbers. Use whatever you like. If you swear by ambush then you can use it. Sniping is more about personal preference then anything. If you want to use the biggest zoom sight you can, go for it. Shortgaze is my personal favorite, and I like aim assist on my snipers. This post has shown to me that some people don't like aim assist. And that's their preference.

2 AntwortenI like the first one better, honestly if you're planning on doing trials check out the one I have It has shortgaze, (forgot what perk was called but it helps you if your last guardian standing), skip rounds and firefly If you are wondering on how firefly helps in pvp Let's say you hit a body shot on a guy and he hides but his friend is next to him, get a head shot on his friend and they both go down Happens from time to time

5 AntwortenThe most important perk in Destiny is range so anything that improves that. Also anything that improves Target Acquisition like Hidden Hand is best.

2 AntwortenI enjoy this sniper so much. Problem is sometimes the headshots register as body shots. I'll have the reticle on the persons head coming around the corner and it somehow counts as a body. It's the only sniper I have ever noticed do this.
