wow this is cash-grabby as hell, lol
hey, let's take seasonal holiday content, which most games just use as an excuse to pull wacky in-game shenanigans and have fun, aaand?
lock the requirements to potentially participate behind paywalls, and even then, leave it up to RNG to see if you get the mask you need to do the dumb quests.
oh.
ohhh.
and hey, you happen to like those cosmetic items? better hope you get some of that RNG paper glue so you can keep it. but hey, you get until Halloween (i assume) to snag your parent's credit card, or save up your lunch money or what the -blam!- ever, to buy the RNG packages you want. woops, better make sure it's at least $5.00 though, because that's the least you can spend on silver, making those smaller packages kind of pointless unless you plan on dropping $10.00 or more on these and overpriced emot-
didn't we just spend $40.00 on the last DLC?
OH.
OHHHH.

Dude nobody is forcing you to buy anything. Take it or leave it.
i'm aware. that doesn't mean it isn't a sleazy way to promote their content
-
Hardly, what's sleazy is assassins creeds p2w practices they put in syndicate. This is nothing, only the sensitive and those who want to be upset are bothered by what bungie is presenting for Halloween.
-
Have you heard of win-win? Players get something cool and we don't have to play for it. Bungie gets sales and "rep" lol. It's good for both sides.
-
No, it's just keeping the game fun and interesting. This was well planned out, not just thrown together in some attempt to bleed the last dollar.
-
if that's how you feel, more power to you.
-
People like you could complain about a wet dream.

i'm out of pants, bungle pls nerf

You don't have to buy anything, Professor.
-
i'm aware. that doesn't mean it isn't a sleazy way to promote their content
-
It appears that you have the "options" to buy if you don't want to spend the time earning the masks yourself. The masks don't benefit people in anyway though so it is just for fun. Buy if you want the easy way out of just play the game.
-
What do you get from the quest?
-
iunno. it says "Gifts of the Lost", so i assume it's another one of those bags with a random rare mask and possibly some other things that you got from eva after doing the trick-or-treat stuff
-
What about after all the quests! There will be something at the end
-
Solid point This is a poorly veiled attempt at a cash grab to finance future content.
-
Finance future content... Surely it'll be highly reduced in price or feel complete, right? Activision also owns Blizzard, in case you need a comparison.
