It's not adding anything new to the fps genre anymore, and it is not much different from other fps franchises.

Halo plays very differently from other first person shooters.

If I were to make a game not be generic, then I'd add something completely new. Something people have never seen before that would blow their socks off. Unfortunately whenever a fps franchise tries to do that, their fanbase get mad for changing the game too much.

The shooting mechanics are much different than others, only has tactical ADS with descoping when shot. I haven't played a game that feels like this one does with its shooting mechanics
