Are the 97% of playstation players screwed?
Hey guys, just looking up some random stats on destiny tracker and it looks like 97% of playstation players DO NOT have the Touch of Malice. Will you require your raid team for hard mode KF to have it?
Edit: For the record I kinda find it hard to believe this is true. I see TOM all the time.
Edit 2: it seems that there is a lot of debate on this topic. I'm trying to look up the percentage of the black spindle owners as well. Can't find it.. It would be less than this. IMO
Edit 3: I think it's pretty safe to say that if you have both..... Congratulations, and may 1,000,000 deaths finally satisfy rahool.

i know there is an issue on xbox with the chevo not poping and you have to do the log out/in thing idk if playstation is the same

That 3% though, is: 1) Still thousands of people 2) The people who play most often. I think that number is also deflated due to everyone who has ever played Destiny ever - even redbox/trade-ins. I could be wrong.

I don't think you can really look at any of those stats and expect them to be accurate. For example, trophies, which is probably where most stats come from include everyone that has ever played the game. Even if it was only for an hour. If you could look at the current player base, I imagine the percentage would be much much higher.

6 AntwortenI'm pretty bad ass with out it, I'm also pretty badass with out ever doing anything at all. So I guess I fall in that category of a wild card. I'm an anomaly. Things like touch of malice are just tiny little slight buffs. They really don't matter all that much in the end inlless you are one of those people who think a 1-2% improvement really helps. (It does not)

Idk if those trophy stats are accurate, on mine it says only 25-30% of players have the 'achieve rank 1 with vanguard/crucible' trophies Among other ridiculously easy trophys to get So either A. These trophy stats are never updated Or B. Only 30% of people who bought and downloaded destiny bothered to play it for more than a couple days I would love to see what the actual player loss and up to date trophy stats are

We had this conversation when HoW came out when people cited that stupid 10% raid completion statistic (or whatever it was). Basically so many people don't get to endgame those numbers are completely invalid. Go look up how many people have even finished levelling a subclass and compare [b]that[/b] to the ToM percentage.

I have a full fire team of 5 people I know in real life we all have touch of malice 3 of us black spindle and have beaten the raid some of us like 25 times and 2 others only like twice. On xbox though .. Where according to those numbers is a much more competitive console lol

Those trophy precentages arent accurate they have everyone that has ever played destiny. So if you rented destiny from redbox for a day and then never played it again you are still counted in that percentage

This conversation happened like 100 times on different posts yesterday. It revolves around how playststion calculates the percentages for the trophies. I oersonally believe they include everyone who has every played not just active players. This makes the stat much lower than it really is.

Only 1 of the 5 has completed the raid. Not sure if he has ToM, probably but not sure. I play every day, have a 304 warlock, 300 titan and 300 hunter and have not completed the raid, nor do I have ToM. I also don't plan to try HM this week, unless I get roped into a group. I would rather wait until I get comfortable with NM first. Why haven't I completed the raid, you may ask ... It is hard to get invited when you don't have experience. It happens, but sometimes you get invited 30 minutes before you are supposed to meet someone for dinner or whatever. The raid is such a time commitment than I can usually only do it at specific times, and when those times come around and I post "302 warlock with Black Spindle and machine gun, only done Warpriest but watched a video of the whole raid, adult, mic" (I have made this post about 20 times), I hear crickets.
