Or make this a perk on a piece of exotic gear.
Perk name:
Tether born.
Description:
Shooting shadowshot near down allies instantly revives them.
Revived players spawn with temporary increase in agility and gain an over shield(last 3 seconds) for escape purposes..
Enemies can still be tether within proximity.
Reduced shadow shot range.
Can revive more than 1 player as long as its within proximity.
Bout time we get a medic ability.
We don't need an "offensive" PvP perk for a support class.
Hunters have golden gun and blade dancer for if they feel like getting more multi kills in PvP
My opinion
I play a lot of trials and raids and I'm pretty good. (check yourself) using a super to revive a teamate would be a round changer but not a game changer. Sunsingers in trials could self res, they also have an armor buff and a lot of grenades.
At least with this super the buffs are temporary.
And it requires your super to perform something which is useless on heavy rounds and rare to see the beginning rounds.
As for pve.
Using this in raids and nightfalls can be life saving as hell.
And honestly the thought of s support class be aggressive in PvP is borderline stupid.
You should not be able to get a triple kill with a support class. That easily.
Bump
Edit:
Cozmo has replied.
"I ike the the suggestion. It would be an amazing ability in Trials of Osiris to be able to revive your entire team from a distance. Possibly too good. For now Quiver is not being replaced, it was only taken offline temporarily until a permanent fix can be applied to an exploit. Thanks for the cool idea though.
Feedback is appreciated.
But I don't think we're done here.
I say if this post post hits 5k replies bungie themselves should take this Into consideration.
Make this a perk
Make this an exotic armor perk
So bump it up.
Turn this post into a petition if we have to.
Shanks for reading kind xurs:)
It is a nice idea but it seems op like to be able to revive some across the map. Now if it was just a revive and no tether ability that might be ok.
-
Love it!
-
That would be a sick idea for Warlock exotic. Like flaming gloves on Sunsinger, if you self res near a downed ally they get revived with you.
-
Love this
-
-
That would be amazing. Just saying.
-
1 AntwortenOh you made a thread about this! Nice man
-
Dude I love this idea! Wow that's awesome! It would be really nice if this were to actually happen. Can always hope I guess.
-
-blam!-ing good idea but the fun police(crucible) will not allow it.
-
Great idea
-
That is a cool idea man. I don't think they need overshields or anything. It should have a short timer to allow you to shoot the arrow to help your teammates.
-
It would be good (not as broken as original idea) if it took 20 or so seconds to revive the team mate. I know it sounds stupid, because 20 seconds or less is all it takes to win or lose trials, but the instant revive is a little broken by itself. Any like longer time delay in revival would be good.

Holy bump

Ehh i really like quiver in pvp(no i didnt use the glitch) but maybe have that be a perk on an exotic piece of armor.
-
-
This would be way better than quiver
-
I'd like the option to turn it offensive. Replace the quiver with a chained shot. If you get a direct hit on a guardian, the shot can chain, to at least 2 More guardians, if they are caught in the same tether.
-
3 AntwortenIt should be replaced with minor increase in damage to shanks...
-
Sounds sort of like the Siren skill in Borderlands 2 just a bit better.
-
A bucket. You know why.
-
would be too powerful in certain gamemodes, and would offer little benefit in pve. i think a better change to quiver would be that it locks you in the animation and fire 4 arrows in quick succession (like automatically, you hover in the arrow and fire a SPREAD of four arrows, all one animation)

1 AntwortenHm. I've always wanted a Borderlands style "res" ability. It's s good idea if implemented right

9 AntwortenSpeak for tourself...i like using ss in pvp. Quiver is the only thing that makes it playable.
