Or make this a perk on a piece of exotic gear.
Perk name:
Tether born.
Description:
Shooting shadowshot near down allies instantly revives them.
Revived players spawn with temporary increase in agility and gain an over shield(last 3 seconds) for escape purposes..
Enemies can still be tether within proximity.
Reduced shadow shot range.
Can revive more than 1 player as long as its within proximity.
Bout time we get a medic ability.
We don't need an "offensive" PvP perk for a support class.
Hunters have golden gun and blade dancer for if they feel like getting more multi kills in PvP
My opinion
I play a lot of trials and raids and I'm pretty good. (check yourself) using a super to revive a teamate would be a round changer but not a game changer. Sunsingers in trials could self res, they also have an armor buff and a lot of grenades.
At least with this super the buffs are temporary.
And it requires your super to perform something which is useless on heavy rounds and rare to see the beginning rounds.
As for pve.
Using this in raids and nightfalls can be life saving as hell.
And honestly the thought of s support class be aggressive in PvP is borderline stupid.
You should not be able to get a triple kill with a support class. That easily.
Edit:
Cozmo has replied.
"I ike the the suggestion. It would be an amazing ability in Trials of Osiris to be able to revive your entire team from a distance. Possibly too good. For now Quiver is not being replaced, it was only taken offline temporarily until a permanent fix can be applied to an exploit. Thanks for the cool idea though.
Feedback is appreciated.
But I don't think we're done here.
I say if this post post hits 5k replies bungie themselves should take this Into consideration.
Make this a perk
Make this an exotic armor perk
So bump it up.
Turn this post into a petition if we have to.
Shanks for reading kind xurs:)
How about it is a pair of exotic armor for the quiver perk. Exotic Gauntlets: Perk- Gives quiver the ability to revive downed teamates, reduced range and each arrow can only tether 2 enemies at a time. Allowing 6 total tethered enemies instead of infinite enemies as long as they're in proximity. It balances it, and allows quiver to be supportive or offensive. So if you're playing trials and are last man standing, you either have the choice between, clutching the shit out of the match and reviving your teamates while being chased (you jump up, turn around, shoot two arrows, revive both teamates if next to each other, use the third to take one of your pursuers out, then your team flanks from behind) or you can YOLO the shit out of the game and just shoot your pursuers (however most likely dying in the process).

Bearbeitet von [:: 10/22/2015 1:46:08 PMThe only reason quiver exists is for a pvp option for the nightstalker. Without that perk nightstalker doesn't have much pvp appeal. The first perk on the shadowshot tree (can't think of a name) is good for objective based game modes but nobody is gonna use that over the ability to get up to three kills unless that person is a serious PTFO player.

I would just go with instant teather activation or damage buff on impact, so you have a chance againt a sunbreaker in PVP.
-
What about a wide spread three shot like the Warlock Nova bomb? Highly situational but technically doesn't quiver allow an enemy to possibly get away when you are shooting? If they are just outside the tether radius they make a clean get away.

Bearbeitet von Waybreaker: 10/22/2015 12:37:24 PMNot sure a rez ability fits Nightstalker given its an offensive support subclass ( vs Defender being defensive support ). Any sort of team mate rez ability would probably be better served both mechanically and lore wise as a Warlock ability. Warlocks are the ones hurting for any sort of good group utility post TTK. Hunter and Titan currently have it in spades. That said, given how fast / easy it is to rez in Destiny the situational usage of a rez ability would be very narrow in PVE. Which is likely why it doesn't have any rez abilities to begin with. Additionally, if someone isn't in a convenient place to rez them there are already ways to reach them of which Hunter ( Bladedancer ) and the Nightstalker specifically already have ( Stealth ). So its functionally kind of useless in PVE. Why would I give up Black Hole or Blood Bound when I can just use Vanish in Smoke? Even failing that. It would not be a perk you actively use in PVE. You'd just pause a moment to switch to it when you need it like you can already do with Vanish in Smoke. No point in keeping it on. PVP wise it would topple the entire meta to be frank. You couldn't allow it to function in non-revive PVP modes because it would simply be far too powerful. You couldn't allow it to function in revive PVP modes because denying the enemy access to a fallen comrade is the entire cornerstone of victory in those modes. A Nightstalker would become required for 3v3. It would become to new meta. Picture dealing with a 3 Nightstalker team in Trials at that point. All capable of ranged rezzing their team mates instantly and buffing the on rez at the same time. You forget how many Hunters are around in pvp. We're currently like roaches ( if you see one... ). You're suggesting turning us into bed bugs. If you don't kill absolutely every last one of them in the house they'll all come back. >.>

They'd nerf it immediately because you'd be able to res an entire team that got supered
-
-
That would be awesome

Cool thoughts!

I could see this as exotic piece before ever being an actual perk. Interesting idea though. Although it would make the perk absolutely worthless on missions (like hard mode raids) or certain crucible playlists where reviving teammates is not possible. Then again it would be OP if it always has the capacity to revive even where it's normally just an option

4 AntwortenAnybody agree that shadestep should grant temporary invincibility during that time?

2 AntwortenIdeas. 1. Triple Shot - shoots three arrows at once. 2. Hail Storm - marks a designated area no bigger than the radius of the zones calling in a barrage of void arrows. 3. Power Shot - shoots an arrow that can penetrate targets. Upon hitting a inanimate object arrow explodes. Using this perk will cost 50% of users life.
