Or make this a perk on a piece of exotic gear.
Perk name:
Tether born.
Description:
Shooting shadowshot near down allies instantly revives them.
Revived players spawn with temporary increase in agility and gain an over shield(last 3 seconds) for escape purposes..
Enemies can still be tether within proximity.
Reduced shadow shot range.
Can revive more than 1 player as long as its within proximity.
Bout time we get a medic ability.
We don't need an "offensive" PvP perk for a support class.
Hunters have golden gun and blade dancer for if they feel like getting more multi kills in PvP
My opinion
I play a lot of trials and raids and I'm pretty good. (check yourself) using a super to revive a teamate would be a round changer but not a game changer. Sunsingers in trials could self res, they also have an armor buff and a lot of grenades.
At least with this super the buffs are temporary.
And it requires your super to perform something which is useless on heavy rounds and rare to see the beginning rounds.
As for pve.
Using this in raids and nightfalls can be life saving as hell.
And honestly the thought of s support class be aggressive in PvP is borderline stupid.
You should not be able to get a triple kill with a support class. That easily.
Edit:
Cozmo has replied.
"I ike the the suggestion. It would be an amazing ability in Trials of Osiris to be able to revive your entire team from a distance. Possibly too good. For now Quiver is not being replaced, it was only taken offline temporarily until a permanent fix can be applied to an exploit. Thanks for the cool idea though.
Feedback is appreciated.
But I don't think we're done here.
I say if this post post hits 5k replies bungie themselves should take this Into consideration.
Make this a perk
Make this an exotic armor perk
So bump it up.
Turn this post into a petition if we have to.
Shanks for reading kind xurs:)
3 AntwortenNo such thing as a "Support" subclass in a game like this, scrub. It's not Borderlands.

2 AntwortenAnother idea...make quiver have the same effect as golden gun...shoot until super runs out

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von K1NG_HYP3RI0N_: 10/22/2015 8:03:59 PMWay too overpowered in Trials

We need this I love this I never use quiver anyway it is shit compared to blood bound if you know when and how to use it, but this perk perfect for raids and trails
-
I would LOVE this Even just something like 'Damaging Tethered Enemies drains their life to give you and allies nearby an overshield' We need a medic-option to go with Vanish and Light of the Pack.
-
I think that would be amazing in pve
-
Very interesting idea, bumppp

I like it. Bump.

Not a fan. I also think "support" in destiny is different than what many think it is. Our characters don't really have defined rolls as in other games. Other classes can perform so called support in other ways like invis revives or area denial through vortex/solor grenades. But no one thinks that way. Here it's basically a titan that can temporarily shield and provide a damage boost or a hunter that can tether and provide a damage boost to enemies and make orbs. There are so many way's in this game to create synergy and support each other yet the majority only look to two options.

i luv how they make a feedback section exactly for this stuff, but everyone posts it in the main anyway. and they only reply to stuff in the main.
-
If they don't replace quiver, why not make it an exotic perk. Example: "Tetherborn cannot be activated when quiver is equipped or can only be activated with black hole or blood bound equipped."
-
This is an amazing idea

That's a really cool idea. I think in early pics of the perk tree it did have a tether that hit allies, shielded them and gave increased dmg. Recently I was considering some other ideas. What do y'all think about.. 1. My favorite idea is that once you pop super with quiver make there be no timer so you could shoot the 3 arrows whenever you want within a life/round, but you wont start charging your next super until you use all three. It would make sense, hence the name quiver. It would be cool to see glowing purple arrows or aura around them while they had arrows. 2. The bug got me thinking, what if it had more than 3 shots? The tether range is short and takes forever to kick in, it's not as strong as golden gun, sunbros can throw an excessive amount of hammers soooo it might work. Maybe this could translate to a spread shot or rapid fire where it's hard to aim at specific targets, but you can cover a large area. 3. The increased armor or dmg mitigation on sunbro and sithlord have a lot to do with their strength. What if you went invisible for the cast period you float and drift through the air until the arrow is fired?

I like the idea ... I has one but not the same Basically still a three shot peek but automated Shot one kills the enemy you aimed at if hit if not it creates an anchor. Shot two firea into the.anchor dragging you into it shit three is more of an explosion creating the tethers only they are tethered to you, as such as long as the tethers remain in place you absorb the energy of those tethered to you creating an over shield. You can move freely killing those caught in the tethers but you cant move to far as it will break the link. This allows for you to be dragged into the thick of a fire fight or used to move quickly as a tactical choice. Also it be high reward but high risk

I also think it's a bad name but a really good idea, don't know what to call it
-
Over penetrate
-
4 Antwortenterrible name but interesting concept. Should be called 'Void life'. the word 'born' is already used in 'blood born' perk
-
Perk name: Legolas' Revenge when activating shadowshot, a staircase spawns and you ride your ghost shell down the stairs shooting arrows at enemies around you(max 6 arrows)
-
Love it, make this happen. A purely defensive shadowshot that revives and gives over shield would be amazing.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von RammerJammer327: 10/21/2015 2:20:45 PMBungie spending time and money to install a brand new perk that wasn't even in their plans instead of just fixing the glitch and replacing quiver.......yeah, that'll definitely happen. ........ it is a cool idea, though

Screw this. I like Quiver.
-
honestly i began reading this expecting to find something wrong with it, but i actually think that it would be fair in pvp, and a ranged res in pve would be awesome
-
Hit there ghost and they revive instantly
-
This is actually pretty genius. I haven't considered a medic perk till you brought it up.

Yes please!
